No Coax Outlet In House

I use these all around the house as an economical surge protector that I can rely on, wherever I don't need the additional coax or network lines protected as well. The design of the supressor is such that you can use up to three bulky transformers without blocking the use of the other outlets, since two of the outlets are provided on the side. Additionally, it has a rating of 2160J, which is plenty of protection for me for most applications. After having an issue with a lightning strike, I spent a lot of time researching reviews of products and customer feedback to get a feel for which companies actually stood behind their products. Tripp-Lite was the only one I felt I could trust.

The product is performing better than I had expected. Initial tests out the box were giving extremely low speed test results. Point to point using a 12 inch coax, testing from my PC to the NAS drive through The adapters was only around 200 Mbps (Gbit Ethernet was around 800Mbps), however after connecting the adapters to the house coax, the download speed jumped to around 770 Mbps with the upload speed around 400 Mbps ( I have no explanation for the performance gain). I have been trying to figure out how to run cat 5E cable to downstairs without ripping up walls or having unsightly cables running in view. I had tried a 5 GHz 80 MHz wide wireless bridge, but that proved unreliable at best. I only use the house coax for broadcast reception for the TVs in case of hurricane power outage and they play nicely with the adapters. I don't have any cable service. All in all very satisfied.

So happy with this. No more cluttering the outlet with extension blocks.

No complaints after several uses. Great addition to a lighting kit when you can't be near a wall outlet.

I have used the 7-outlet Surge Master (7SM) for the last 5 years. During Hurricane Milton my house experience a major power surge. Because of the 7SM I was quickly alerted and was able to turn off the power . Our devices were saved and possibly prevented a fire. Unfortunately this was my 7SM last battle. I am now looking for a new 7SM to replace it.

Left my original plugged into an outlet in a shelter house when I returned it was gone. I may have considered a third party charger as a back up but wanted the original Canon as a replacement.

No more cable in my house. I love it

Good antenna and coax are 99% of your set-up, this did very well.
