Bought it to replace an aging cable for a Mac docking station, the problem was that the secondary display connected to the docking station started to flicker and lose signal at any moment. But most cables I was able to buy in local stores only had the usbc physical connector, but still old USB 2.0 protocol which doesn't handle video signal. This cable worked perfectly with the docking station, is able to handle the HDMI video signal, and is the perfect length for the replacement.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first I wasn’t sure how useful this docking station would be, but once I opened it up and checked out all the port options, I realized how many possibilities this opens up. When I connected the dock to a power source abd my device, it came up very quickly, without any connectivity issues. Now I can use my device to plug in a webcam, use headphones, connect to an external monitor, import files, etc. In addition to being very useful, it’s also very well-made. It has a nice weight to it and feels very sturdy. This is a great product and I’d happily recommend it to others.

I have been using the docking station for about 3 weeks. tried both the e-sata connection and the USB3 cable. I using the device as a storage point for system backup. The read write speed is nearly twice the speed for the usb3 is nearly twice the spe3ed of the e-sata connection. I have not experienced issues with the HDD failing to register with the OS. the docking station has been highly reliable.
