I recently received the XP9R flashlight, and already it is one of my favorite lights. First off, it is a medium size light, but it has a rugged feel. I like the weight, and it gives the impression that it will last a long time. The lanyard attachment stops the light from rolling off surfaces - simple, but effective. And I like the fact that the rechargeable Zithion-X battery accepts a USB-C charger cord - no fumbling trying to plug the cord in, and no separate charger necessary. Additionally, the slide focus is simple to operate, and will lock in any position. The only thing that I can think of that would improve this light is a battery indicator light, showing how much charge remains. But I have no idea what kind of space and cost that feature would require. Overall it is a great light, and I will be using it for years to come. 5 |
