No Power To My Eris E8 Studio Monitors

2024-09-13 04:45:55

I bought these to use with PreSonus Eris E8 speakers. They are a perfect fit. The fact that it's a single pad makes it easy for me to change the angle of the speakers if I want to get back from the desk and listen in the room. These speakers are really loud with a lot of low end. I have them sitting on top of a wooden desk. There is absolutely NO bass frequency transfer that I can detect!

If you have any sort of studio monitors, you really ought to have isolation pads. I have Eris E5s and these fit perfectly. They provide a very noticeable difference in response, clarity. Auralex may have the big name, but the MoPads I received were sloppily made, the fronts were different dimensions, badges crooked. I am much happier with these. Although they function the same, these are better looking than two mismatched pads under each monitor, and they dont leave a bunch of foam dust like the Auralex pads. Functionally equivalent (much cleaner sound than on the desk), but less cost, and better quality.

I have a pair of Presonus Eris e5 XT monitors, which are on a slightly bigger side and these stands work just fine. I use them with the higher riser option and at the steepest angle and they feel stable. Note that some assembly is required, everything comes tightly packaged in a box and you do have to study the manual for a few minutes to understand all the possible configurations and then connect the parts, screw them in place, attach the pads, but you should be done in less than half an hour.

I purchased this amp to power my home studio monitors. I didn't need anything very loud and wanted an amp that was simple. Sound is clear with no buzz or hum. Lights are a little annoying. My monitors are only 6, but can handle up to 300 a piece, and this little guy fills them out nicely. The great thing is if it goes out on me, I simply throw it away and buy another one. Construction is very solid. Bottom line is it is, what it is If your looking for something to blow the roof off your house and all the bells and whistles, then this one is not for you. Now if your looking for an affordable, good sounding, compact, decent amp, then looki into this one.

Bought this amp to power some non-powered studio monitors I had gotten for my desktop editing system. ... Easy setup with regular 12 gauge wire. Great sound and controls. Very solid amp. The sound is great and crisp!

It took me a few minutes to dial in the JBL, but once I figured that out it sounds smooth and complimented my setup perfectly. I'm not sure why anyone in a studio setting would want to use anything but the 80hz crossover. It had PLENTY of power, in fact, it's set to about 40 percent power to balance out with my studio monitors. Folks that say it doesn't have enough power need to turn down the gain of their monitors. The whole idea of a studio sub is not to blow you away (which this can certainly do) but rather to compliment (extend the frequency range of) the monitors. It does this very well. If you don't use this balance, your mixes will not be accurate may result in them being low-frequency deprived. I can easily switch between sub + crossovered monitors to monitors with no crossover with my Mackie 1642VLZ4 mixer. I just use a subgroup output to isolate my monitors without the sub. What makes this possible is that the HS8 monitors have 2 inputs, so your miles may vary. When dialing your sub in, remember that less is more. I've found this to be true in just about every facet of life. Happy Mixing.

My college's Photo Studio used EIZO monitors, so I've know about EIZO for around a decade now. Now that I am getting back into my photography I knew I wanted to get a similar brand or model to the EIZO monitors I used in college. After a year of doing some research I landed on getting the EIZO ColorEdge CS2740 26.9 and it has not disappointed. I love my new monitor and it's been great to use for my photography work and some design work.

All studio cameras should have a power supply like this. No more changing the batteries in the middle of the shoot.
