No Power To My Samsung Laptop

No additional power needed. Runs fairly quiet and keeps the laptop cool.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This laptop is lighter than my Samsung tablet pro, but has more power and features...great buy for my wife.

My laptop had a 2TB Samsung EVO 970 plus system drive and I bought this WD black to put in a USB enclosure. But before I did, I ran Crystal Disk Mark on the Samsung, cloned the system to this drive and ran it again on this drive. My laptop is only PCI 3 so I wasn't expecting the stated performance, and no surprise it didn't make those numbers. But it did perform a little better than the Samsung and ran a bit cooler also. So I kept this WD black as the system drive and wiped the Samsung and put that one in the USB enclosure. Now it's a few weeks later and so far so good.

My son installed this internally to his laptop and says it worked out great. No issues.

I was unable to use my monitor consistently with my new docking station and laptop. The docking station kept asking for more power from the laptop. My Tech guy couldn't figure out a solution. A consultant at BH PhotoVideo suggested I plug my monitor directly into my laptop as monitors draw a lot of power and often times docking stations can't handle a full load. He recommended the cable here, which I bought. Now my system works beautifully. Thank you BH Photovideo!

My wife's laptop came with decent processor power and 8GB RAM, performance was OK but she was not happy about some delays while working in photo editing programs. I bought this 16 GB module, doubling the memory and the wife loves the upgrade. I have purchased CRUCIAL for years, never had issues. Great price and fast shipping from B&H. Thanks!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This device solved my docking station problem at one shot. Although it is not officially called 'a docking station', I can have only one USB-c line goes into the laptop. The power cord, HDMI from monitor, wireless keyboard+ mouse USB, are all connected to this device. I move my laptop from work to home and back with only one plug in when I resume working. Most docking stations cost a fortune, this one, a fraction of cost, works like a charm. My best buy of this year is this device. Although I had to buy a power charger with USB-C end, it is worth the money. My wife do the same for her Mac with this device ( she has her own device). So far so good, compact and light weight.
