Non Certified Lightning Cable Workaround

I gotta say, this is definitely the best light that I've purchased so far. Technically the only other RGB light I've ever owned is the Godox R1 which is fun to play with and has it's purpose but not even a fair comparison. I got this for it's versatility, it having great light output for a panel without breaking the bank, light weight and thin, comparatively to it's class, and Superb App as well as on light menu. It's the easiest to navigate menu I've had the pleasure to use, though I don't own any aputure's so can't compare to the Sidus app. The only complaint I have with it so far is the short power cable's, and the power supply's cable is so short in fact that the brick would hang off the ground if i had it fully extended (and it's a heavy brick!). Figured out a workaround with some velcro and some v-mount bracket/clamp but for the price and quality of everything else, this seems like someone dropped the ball big time. Just seems really cheap compared to the rest. Anyway, the rest is so good it's something I'm willing to look past now that I have a suitable workaround. 5 |

I have an older Sony Handycam and use a Mac. I have had a heck of a time figuring out how to transfer video from the Sony to my computer. With this cable, I finally have a workaround. I feed the signal from the Handicap through the A/V port (digital) using this cable to a VCR. Then I use the Roxio VHS to DVD cable to go from the VCR to the Mac computer. With this setup, I'm able to transfer my video. The Sony Handicam apparently doesn't support USB transfer to Mac computers, which is why I had to figure out this workaround. 5 |

I was hoping not to pay the premium price - but having tried even certified cables from other brands, this is the only cable that does not have an occasional drop in signal when shooting 4K, 60P, 10bit from the GH5. Built very well and worth the premium price. 5 |

Disclaimer: In order for this to work you MUST have the Apple certified thunderbolt 3 cable. Do not attempt to buy a knock off or use a USB-C hard drive cable. It will not power the device. You need the $40 Apple cable. Other than, that this thing works perfectly. It’s predecessor would always give me connection issues and I would have to unplug and replug it. This one new plug it in and go. I love it. Wish they would’ve released it a while back but I’m enjoying it now 5 |

If you have transfer speed issues, use a certified USB C 3.1 cable; not all cables are created equally. I was stuck with 40MB transfer speed until I changed my cable. With the proper cable, it jumps to over 480MB/sec. Much faster and no need for other adapters. 5 |

We had a Non-APC vendor power surge protecting our outside cable coax line and a network cable coming into our house from the outside (my husband does astrophotography in the backyard and needs network connectivity better than wireless.) Well lightning struck the back of our yard and took out BOTH the coax and Cat5e network cable, long with very piece of IT gear we had. It took 2 weeks to get us back up and running with Comcast. I'm hoping this does better. We are using both the network and coax surge protectors and most of the plugs. We are crossing our fingers. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Belkin International - BOOST↑CHARGE™ Lightning to USB-A Cable works perfectly. A few days after obtaining the charging cable we went to Mexico and my boost cable worked perfect. I had no issues with charging my iPhone and the charge was unbelievably quick. I left my device was properly protected and the cable length is great. Finding the right cable these days for me has been a challenge but this Belkin International - BOOST↑CHARGE™ Lightning to USB-A Cable is sturdy, the heads fit the charging ports with no force. 5 |
