One of my workhorse lenses has been my 70-200 2.8L Non-IS... It has served me well for years. But I finally decided that having IS wouldnt be a terrible thing. LOL So when I started looking, I ran across this beauty. Sure, its a bit more than the Mk II...and some say the improvements are marginal...but if one is going to dive in, they might as well go head first. ;-) IDK what was wrong with the Mk II to deserve a fairly quick update...but this lens rocks. I have a new workhorse. 5 |

This camera is not for everybody, but I think it's a great compact alternative for DLSR users. Non-photo enthusiasts might be put off by the weight (surprisingly heavy for such a small camera) or the strange pop-up flash, but all is in service of a sturdy camera with a great lens that takes great photos. 5 |

I have played with this camera a little and it has great features and capabilities. I am a professional photographer and I shoot EOS R5s with L series lenses. I found the focus ability to be good enough to shoot high school football. My daughter has completed her photo class and was able to produce numerous images that were tack sharp. The RF-S lenses were more than capable for her needs and give her a great range. 5 |

This bag has everything I need as a professional photographer. Because I use prime lenses, I carry three camera bodies + 3 lenses to every job, plus flashes, battery chargers, etc. This was one of the only bags I could find on the market that would hold all three cameras. Inner dividers are all moveable so I could customize my set-up. Love the tactical style so I can attach the water bottle pouch and waist strap for a job that includes hiking, but keep it more sleek at other times. Look forward to using this bag for years to come. 5 |

First I'll start by saying this is the first big boy lens I have owned. I've upgraded from using a BMPCC 4k with photographic lenses to an Ursa with this lens. I have zero experience with professional equipment but I fo have a very solid understanding of how to use a camera. With that said this lens gives me far more capabilities than what I'm used to. The longer throw focus and better aperature across the whole focal length is day and night compared to photographic lenses but if you are in the market for something like this than you already know that. The only thing I'll say bad about this lens is its ability to hold focus. It comes with PL mount out of the box and the hardware for an EF. I had it swapped to EF by a local professional camera retailer. Its my first parafocal lens. I expected it to hold perfect focus throughout its zoom range especially since the flange was swapped by a professional AND I gave them my camera to make sure everything was tip top. From my eye it seems the focus shifts slightly. Focusing a subject at full zoom then pulling out seems to pull the focus a bit. This is also reflected by focus assist/peaking. It is minuscule though and difficult to perceive unless looking for it. For me it's an incredibly useful lens. The price compared to other lenses is what sold me. Hope this was helpful to someone! 5 |

I was looking for a good camera to replace my venerable Nikon D1. It still works great and takes great pictures, but the low pixel resolution and grainy low light photos are an issue. I do, however, own some professional lenses for it that I wanted to use with a new camera. After a lot of research I settled on the D7500, for features, specs and price, as well as the ability to not purchase a new set of lenses. I am not a professional photographer by any means, but I also want quality pictures and the D7500 really delivers. My AF-S lenses work perfectly with it and after shooting 450 pictures I am seeing fantastic results. The images are amazingly crisp and clear. Colors are accurate. Shooting in monochrome produces very nice contrasts and depth. The menu options are quite extensive, but it has generally not been difficult to find what I am looking for in them. What isn't obvious is a simple google search away. Nikon has mostly kept the basic controls in the same places so there was not a huge adjustment changing from the D1 to the D7500. If there's anything I am not highly enthusiastic about, it's the SnapBridge function. I have found it to be a pain to use. Personally, I prefer to put the SD card in the computer and import them that way. This is not a ding on the camera itself, if others find SnapBridge useful, then it is a good feature for the camera to have. In summary, I am very pleased with the D7500 and with the purchase from B&H, highly recommend both! 5 |
