Npr Doorbell Camera

Works as advertised. I use mine to monitor my new ring doorbell camera.

Love the product. Easily links to Spotify and my local go to NPR stations.

Pulls in the NPR station that no other radio I have can find. So, it sits bedside and keeps me fueled.

My wife and I bought this radio to be our fridgetop connection with NPR. It's a wonderful little box of simple technology and it sounds terrific.

My wife and I enjoy listening to a local NPR station that does not come in very strong but this tuner does it with absolute clarity. Being a manual tuner, power burps don't lose the frequency like digital tuners. Looks great and best sound I've ever heard in a box this size.

I bought this radio for my small apartment, and it's been even better than I expected so far. I listen to NPR on the radio in the mornings, and the reception is good even without an external antenna. I also use the auxiliary input to listen to music via my computer and iPod. Not only is the Model One impressive in terms of clarity, but it also provides surprisingly rich and warm bass for such a small, single speaker. The build quality is also very nice, and the black finish on the wood is quite sophisticated.

As an NPR addict, this is exactly what I wanted. A simple quality radio with as little modern technology clutter as possible. The radio is beautiful and has amazing reception. I compared with a few others radios, and this gets perfect reception with the internal antenna for stations I have to fiddle with on other radios. The tuner is large and very precise. It has bluetooth, which is good for podcasts. It is NOT a Bose or other high-end speaker competitor. It doesn't compare for stereo music sound. It is optimized more for voice clarity than rock n' roll, although classical music sounds quite pleasant. I would describe the sound as warm with that nostalgic soundstage that reminds me of the wooden bookshelf or floor speakers my parents had when I was a kid. You feel like you can hear the room and be there with the people on the radio.

This mic has a great sound. It really seems to deaden the room noise and creates more of a NPR Sound with the proper bottom settings on the mixer. It is also very versatile and while I have not used the USB option yet, it is great to know if is there in case I need to record on the road. Very well built unit, as you would expect from Shure.
