I bought this receiver for the Bluetooth connectivity. I am now able to play my iTunes songs from the iTunes cloud through my iPhone and the new Receiver to our inside and / or outside speakers - all from my lounge chair. I am handicapped, so this is of great help to me.

I� needed an inexpensive flash trigger and receiver to use with my studio flashes.� I was tired of getting tangled up in, or tripped by, long sync cords.� Since I am an amateur, I don't need any fancy "extras" on the units. The receiver is connected via an adapter sync cord to a hub - that allows me to run a coiled sync cord to my flash meter via the hub and still have the receiver unit connected to the studio flash power unit. They are exactly as advertised and work great.� I was surprised to see the units did have several "extra" features. I am satisfied.

This is an update of the review I posted. After the investigation, I found the hub causes interference on wireless mouse receiver. Solution: use short USB extension cable to keep the receiver away. The lag problem is gone after short extension cable added and now it's perfect.

I have three sets of these USB extenders and they work well. The receiver has a 4-port USB hub, and an external USB hub is not needed. I power the receiver.

Very straightforward 2 ch receiver with bluetooth and a turntable pre. Respectable power output... Clean looks... and, it's a SONY!

This receiver has revitalized my 1980s stereo system by allowing Bluetooth transfer from my Sony Walkman (CD quality) and from an iPhone. When powered the receiver goes into pairing mode--your device remembers this receiver...you are connected. So far there has been no problem with connection or distance from the receiver. As this is my second unit (first attached to another stereo system) I only wish I could rename the unit as it comes up with the same name...only to be identified by the Bluetooth address. If you only have one of these, this will not be an issue. Attachment is simple: connect using RCA supplied cord to your receiver aux input. Having it on a switched plug on the receiver is very convenient. If not, you would have to push the light button to switch it into on mode. It has an auto off after a few minutes of not receiving a signal. It also has an optical connection.
