What can I say? Everyone who knows Televue knows that they are getting excellence. One look at the Beehive Cluster through this eyepiece let me know it was exactly what I expected. 5 |

I ordered this generic brand partly because the Canon brand became a cluster to order on line, and more expensive. The hood fits perfectly on the 18-200 canon lens - both positions forward and back. It looks professional and well made. 5 |

We love our 3 in 1 charging system! The fact that there’s just one wire is GREAT! No more cluster of different chargers and wires all over the kitchen counter. The Kitchen counter where this 3 in 1 charger is located is our charging station for the house. 5 |

These are excellent binoculars. I use them for handheld binocular astronomy. They inspire confidence: Fully multi-coated, waterproof, solid mechanics, comfortable in the hand. Most importantly, they see well: Stars are pinpoints. The Orion Nebula, the Beehive Cluster, and the Double Cluster in Perseus all appeared clear and beautiful. For 8x I expected it to split the double star Kuma (or Nu Draconis) in Draco, and it did. It also showed 2 of Jupiter's moons on a not-so-clear night as clear points (the other two moons were too close to the planet and so appeared as one). The 6 FOV is adequate. Daytime views are neutral, not tinted. I am not comparing them to 7x50, 10x50, or IS binoculars, as each of these display the skies differently, each having its own unique advantage over the others. But as 8x40s go, these are superb. Easy to grab and go, no need to mount, comfortable to use, with clear and pleasing views. 5 |

Using two of these, on separate light stands, with 45 watt fluorescent bulbs, both cluster of lights, close to each other, and in turn bounced from a single 60 white umbrella , I was able to capture beautiful dance video. 5 |

Telescope is very easy to use and set up. It aligned the first time I used it. Saw the rings on Saturn and Hercules cluster the first night. 5 |

I have been working as an astronomy educator for ten years. The telescopes I use at work are fairly big (16+ reflector) and involve a lot of manual work. The automated SkyAlign technology of the 6SE is amazing. The entire sky is at the press of a few buttons on the NexStar remote. The telescope accurately points to the selected object and tracks it. Even when I manually locate and centre an object, the telescope still tracks it, awesome! This technology does require a bit of learning. If the quick setup guide is followed, then there should be no dramas! It is very important to have a level tripod; an un-level tripod is enough for the SkyAlign to fail. Also Celestron power tank (or equivalent) is a must have, using batteries only will be very costly. Do note that rechargeable batteries are not powerful enough to use in this scope, as they are only 1.2v each compared to 1.5v each for alkaline (total 12v required). I use AA even when I am using the power tank. If for any reason the power tank gets disconnected I do not lose any of my settings or sky-alignment. The scope only uses batteries when power tank is not connected. Additional eyepieces are also useful for magnification. I bought this compact telescope for backyard astronomy and travel astronomy. When I require serious power and optics, I use telescopes at work. So far, with the 6SE, I have seen the Moon, Mars, Saturn, Alpha Centauri, Jewel Box Cluster (NGC 4755), Butterfly Cluster (M6), Ptolemy Cluster (M7), Omega Centauri (NGC 5139), Sombrero Galaxy, Stargate Cluster and I am just getting started. All objects were found using the NexStar remote, no manual work! This scope works like magic, no complaints at all! Thank you B&H for shipping internationally. 5 |

I bought these for astronomy and they worked great. The first night alone I was able to see the Andromeda Galaxy, Jupiter, Earth's moon, Neptune, the double cluster, Orion's Nebula, and NGC457 an open star cluster. I think the views were outstanding. A tripod is a must with these. They aren't that heavy but I wouldn't want to be holding them all night either. 5 |

This is my first 2" EP and my first 82 degree FOV EP. The view of the double cluster (I could see both in the FOV with my Meade LS-8) was simply spectacular. I was a little anxious about spending close to $300 for an EP. However it is definitely worth the money. 5 |
