Nvidia Device Drivers

I finally decided to sign up for a streaming TV service, but my circa 2016 Samsung Smart TV was too old to run the latest streaming apps. After doing a LOT of comparison of Roku, Fire, etc. I settled on the NVIDIA SHIELD TV and I'm extremely happy. I wanted a device that could support Gigabit ethernet (instead of operating via WiFi) and the SHIELD fit the bill. The only other device that fully supports Gigabit ethernet is Apple TV, but since I'm already in the Android ecosystem the NVIDIA SHIELD was really a no-brainer. Very satisfied user.

NVIDIA SHIELD Pro is a great product. I bought the first one year ago and this is the second device in my house. Love it.

I just got this and connected the adapter and went into device manager, selected the adapter to check for updates and it downloaded some drivers and the adapter is active. I love things that are quick to set up and work well.

Device drivers loaded without problem. I have achieved 30mbps transfer rates with this drive. I was surprised by how small it is! USB fits snugly in my laptop's USB2.0 and USB3.0 ports, unlike what I read on a few other reviews. I use the drive for a complete backup to my windows 7 laptop, and general file storage. If I were to buy another drive, I'd go with the 2 TB or larger capacity.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had been using a different docking station that seemed ideal because of its size (it is half the size of this one) but any time I would lock my computer or put it to sleep and start using it again, 90% of the time, there was an issue with the screens duplicating instead of being continuous, not reading a monitor at all, or changing the display settings entirely. I would have to unplug and replug and hope THAT would clear it. 80% of the time, that would be enough, but other times, I would have to reset it up. I have not had that issue with this one at all. Absolutely Love it. One thing to note: there is an Attention sticker and notice everywhere in the product saying you must install drivers prior to using. I did not find those drivers no matter how hard I looked on their site. Ignore messaging. It's a simple plug and play device. The last thing I want to note is the cable that connects the device to the laptop could be longer to accommodate for clunky laptops like mine that require the USB-C connection on the side instead of the back.

This small little device is amazing. It converts an HDMI signal to USB without any software/drivers . . . and allows the computer to recognize it immediately and easily. It is totally worth the expense.

I plugged in the USB-C connector that is included with the device. Windows 11 found it without having the load any drivers and it was able to read an old burned CD I had. I was able to play a CD and it worked perfectly. I would have preferred a slightly longer USB cable, but I can always get an extender. I will try burning disks next, but I do not anticipate any diffieculties. I would recommend giving this DVD burner a spin!

Despite the fact the drivers for the Canon 5D mk IV are not working well, this Ronin S is a remarkable device that has upped our production value greatly.   The fact is the device works great and has amazing capabilities.  The learning curve and getting your rig completely tricked out is kind of challenging as well as getting all the various settings in the app where the should be is also long and detailed.  It took us about a week of playing with it a few hours every day to get to point we felt confident to use it on a real project.   We are realistically at 30% mastery of the device at this point but even at that it has been an excellent purchase.   I do strongly recommend an external monitor mounted to the gimbal mounted on an external arm for holding it with two hands as well as a small shotgun on the arm and strap so you dont drop the rig. We are really hoping DJI and Canon can make drivers that allow 5D mk IV work with the app at same level as some other cameras as at the moment all we can do is start and stop recording.
