I have installed Ubiquiti cams and NVRs since they were first introduced and this Generation 3 addition follows a steady improvement to the line. I have two of them under soak testing for past three weeks and Im very pleased. The video quality is very good and the night vision IR as well. It provides numerous mounting options and is very easy to aim/point. It is advertised as an indoor/outdoor cam with precaution of non-direct rain and from the construction I would agree that if placed under the eve of a structure it should be ok. The IR night vision is good for a larger indoor room and for outdoor I would use it for up to 15/20 foot distance. Of course you get this for under $80 which is an additional reason for my rating. 5 |

I got this free with the purchase of a travel scope. It is very useful for viewing at night when you want to make adjustments to the scope and not mess up your night vision. A red light is a must for visual asronomy at a dark sky sight. Highly recommended 5 |

This red light flashlight is bright and ideal for setting up your scope at night without destroying your night vision! 5 |

I have been using night vision devices for many years now so I decided to upgrade to a thermal device. Well I finally saved up and purchased the ATN ThOR 640 4x-40x and it has changed the way we hunt predators. The reliability and features on this scope are amazing from taking pictures and videos to the smart range finder, and being able to store different setups in the scope allowing it to be moved to different rifles. The best part of this scope is not on the scope itself, but with customer service. You have a customer for life. 5 |

The VCOG 1-8 is the best close quarters to mid range scope that I have ever used. It also works well with both night vision PVS22 and and PVS-14. I wish I had this scope for my deployments in Afghanistan as it is very fast for up close work and easily gets you out to 600 yards 5 |

I love this scope, easy to use and very accurate. The night vision and range finder are awsome once you have set it up. I use my 3x14 on my crossbow and muzzle loader and the 5x20 on my .270 and .300 for out west. Only con to this scope is its weight at 2.2 lbs. 5 |

The IR850 Supernova is a great compliment to the night vision scope I purchased recently. Totally awesome. 5 |

Make no mistake. This scope is a big 56mm and a bit heavy but the payoff is a huge, bright view. I mostly hunt hog and coyote during twilight and night. I'd say this is probably not the scope you want if you can only hunt during the day but if you can legally hunt at night this scope is a significant improvement over a 40mm or even a 50mm scope. It's not gen 3 night vision but if there is some moon or sky glow it's quite effective. This illuminated reticle is understated and very effective at precise shooting or longer ranges. During the day with a light background you don't really notice that it's illuminated but against a dark target the glowing dot marks the center of your cross hairs. As the light fades the fiber optic automatically adjusts the dot's brightness so well that I don't understand why they made it adjustable. At night the dot gently glows bright enough to be clearly visible but not enough to hurt your night vision. I am still amazed that the illumination works so perfectly without adjustment, no on/off and no batteries. There is noticeable chromatic aberration around the perimeter but the image is sharp in the center and it is very noticeably brighter than my 40mm and 50mm Nikon Buckmasters and 50mm Redfield scopes. 5 |
