Nyc Weather Underground March
UdgMiner | 2024-06-24 07:43:36 |
I got the Clip 4 back in March for my birthday and I am amazed with the quality! I’m an underground miner and I left this speaker underground accidentally a couple weeks back. I left it in a stope that got loaded with explosives and blown up a couple days later and the speaker survived! Absolutely incredible it still works and was still hanging up on the wire where I left it haha!! I just bent the clip back in place and it’s good as new! 5 |

Visited B&H's NYC store for the first time in March '24. It is everything you want it to be. Gear, gear and more gear. The employees are knowledgeable and friendly. Brian in their audio section answered all my questions and helped me in choosing the Zoom H6. Cost was less than I expected and is the perfect recorder for my needs. Highly recommend B&H and the Zoom H6. 5 |

I ordered these from B&H in mid-March and am totally please with them. The 8x is great for most folks and are about the limit for steady holding, at least for me. The rubber cover is terrific for all weather grip and the O ring seals should keep them water proof when I am out in the weather. The focus is a bit stiff but I attribute this to the O ring seals. They focus to about 18’ which make them OK for birding, but is you need closer focus the Bushnell Legacy series is also great, and yes I also have the Bushnell Legacys. The Bushnell 30% back March rebates make these Bushnells a can’t miss value. 5 |

Great vest. I'm using it in an underground coal mine. It's like having an extra pair of hands. It distributes weight evenly. I use it for batteries, flashes, all sorts of accessories. There are no pockets for big lenses, but that's O.K. It would make the vest too heavy and cumbersome. It's pretty good at repelling lime and coal dust and water and is not likely to tear easily. Pockets are lined with soft material, which is easy on lenses. These vests are a little pricey, but worth it. They're professional gear and are made for rugged use. 5 |

So far so good! Using as a backup power supply for an underground dog fence and so far is working great. 5 |

We mostly use it to protect our lens for our camera at work, being as we drag the camera through steam tunnels, in mud trenches, inside underground vaults, and through all sorts of other environments. The filter screws on firmly to the end of the lens and protects the lens from scratches, dirt, dust, etc. without distorting any of the pictures. 5 |

I use 50+ of these routinely for delicate electronic sensors that are buried underground in very wet Florida environments for over 6 months at a time. I love the color-changing pattern on the exterior of the pack that let's me now when it's due for replacement or refreshing in a microwave. I used to use the metal type that needed to be baked for 3 hours, but those too long to replenish and were small in comparison. 5 |

This arm is exactly what I needed. I made an oversized copy stand to photograph old city maps and drawings of the underground utilities. I'm using the arm on top of a ProMaster Super Heavy Duty SLR II Tripod. Had to put a couple of weights on the tripod just to make sure it wouldn't tip over with the arm fully extended. 5 |
