Nyx Mechanical Eye Pencil Deep Purple

You see the picture and think, why is it purple? Buy with confidence because it is not purple. It's super blue. Deep blue, to be precise. When you hold it up to your eye to the light, you'll see it's clearly blue.

Great lead supply for my mechanical pencil. These are very thick and so far, not a single has broken even when I extend a bit. Very happy with these lead refills.

After finding that the Nikon DK-19 was incompatible with the Z8, I bought this hoping it would replicate the features of the DK-19. The features I was looking for were: a soft, deep, eyecup that could be flipped back on itself to streamline putting the camera in and out of bags/packs. This eyecup fits those requirements perfectly. A note for usage for eyeglass users though: the eye-point on the Z8/Z9 is rather deep, so you will absolutely need to set the Viewfinder display size to Small in the SETUP MENU to compensate (if you do not already). I do not use eyeglasses, and can only just see all four corners of the viewfinder on the Standard display size when I push my eye right into the eyecup.

I use this eyepiece for close up deep sky observing with a deep sky filter, the view of M42,M44 & M45, made me feel like jumping right into the eyepiece placing the eye close to the eye lens open up the full 100 degree apparent f,o,v. I have never felt so personally close to space, like looking through a porthole of a spaceship. At 530mm focal lengh Saturn's rings and Titan although small are clear from one edge to the other egde with no distortion. All the reviews that have been placed in the astronony world are not overstating this eyepiece it is a master piece.

Okay, I'm out nature a lot, can't tell you how many times I've gotten poked in they eye in the deep forest, luckily my shades have saved my eyes (or prevented me from seeing the impending danger). So I've applied the same logic to my Canon Vixia, hoping this filter will save my camera from a poke in the eye. Cheap insurance, don't be dumb, buy it.

I purchased this to put LED (NYX, B7c) bulbs into pancake and birdcage chimera. I was looking for a replacement to the tungsten bulbs I had always used. The 1 - 4 adapter gives me more output and the advantage of RGW and clean dimming. I just received this and will update my review if anything comes up.
