I previously had the Opticron 8x42 Oregon 4 PC Oasis Binoculars and these were a huge upgrade. The view is wider, there's more light and color, and it's easier to see the birds. 5 |

These mics did not astound me. They did not turn my $250 Epiphone acoustic into a $2500 Gibson J45. I did not sound like Frank Sinatra. They did not improve my gas mileage. BUT; they sounded awesome. These are not the Ferrari or Mercedes of the mic world; these are WORKHORSES. They sound rich, thick, syrupy and smooth while sounding clear and articulate. They ROCK on guitar cabs and sound fantastic in blumlein for singer/songwriter in-the-room sound. If you want a $4000 mic that gets used once in a while, this ain't it. If you want a great value on a pair of mics that you'll use on every single session, these babies are it! 5 |
