Obs Studio Settings Lag Monitor Capture Stream

Easy to use and works great. Using this to stream from my GH4 to OBS Studio. Great, simple streaming solution.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a content creator, who isn't these days. I stream on twitch and wanted a second monitor to keep an eye on my OBS software while gaming. This monitor works great. It's great size to have OBS open with chat and audio monitoring also at a good size on the screen. Features I love: Being able to turn the monitors orientation without taking it off the stand. Ease of assembly, no screws involved everything snaps together securely and quickly. The stand itself: its got a small form factor that takes up very little desk surface area. Height adjustment: smooth gliding without feeling like I'm going to break the monitor. I did have to play with the video settings a little to get it dialed in to my preference but it was easy to navigate the settings on the monitor. The only complaint I have is that there are no integrated speakers but not a big deal overall.

We purchased the Ultra Stream for our small church to be able to stream our church services since our older members are staying home to avoid the risk of infection from Covid 19. We have been using it for 8 weeks streaming at 1080/25fps at 4 mbps. After initial configuration it starts a live stream to our Youtube page by just pressing the green button on the case. We first tried streaming via a PC but there was too much lag, crashed occasionally, was rather complicated, and it would have required a dedicated person to manage the stream. The Ultra Stream was the ideal solution. Relatively low cost, very simple to use, very stable, and no lag. We have connected a single video camera on a permanent mount via hdmi. One comment I would make is that the manual states that if you use a line input to the mic jack the volume will be very loud, and we have not found this to be the case. We are taking line output from out mixerboard directly into the Ultra Stream and the volume settings on the mixerboard and the Ultra Stream are at about midpoint, and the audio meter levels almost never go into the red. This means that after finding the right levels on our mixerboard, we no longer have to make any adjustments on the fly for the Ultra Stream, the audio technician adjusts the volume in the room and those levels are also correct for the Ultra Stream.

These cameras are very easy to set up and monitor and change capture settings through the app. It’s too bad there isn’t a way to make the camera unusable to someone who steals it, but I’m not sure how that would be possible. (We got one stolen off a tree on private property)

I use my Elgato Stream Deck for both SLOBS and OBS, and being able to have multiple profiles and switch between them is incredible. I can quickly go from a small webcam with big gameplay to the opposite. I can mute my mic with the push of a button. And my favorite thing about it all: SOUND EFFECTS! I'll include a photo of my basic SLOBS profile, which I use while I stream.

It helps so much for streaming, from keeping everything organized and changing from one scene to another! keeps you focused on the stream than OBS or Streamlabs. Also use them to turn on my Elgato Key Lights!

I bought the Elgato Stream Deck to control OBS for use on internet media platforms ( Zoom, Twitch, Youtube etc) The set up was almost plug and play. The Stream Deck software is very easy to use and intuitive. The custom button feature is a big plus too.

This is a great PTZ camera for the money. The camera has much to offer in terms of functionality and quality. We are using it to live-stream church services. We stream on of six locations within the church - four of which are 30 - 40 feet from where the camera is mounted. The other two are 8 and 15 feet. Great picture quality at all six presets. In addition to joystick controls, the remote control, and the web-browser interface, the camera can also be operated through an HTTP API. With a little help from tech support, we are using the api with OBS software such that scenes in OBS command the camera to the appropriate preset. Tech support at AVIPAS responds quickly and knowledgeably.

Great little device that works as claimed, just plug and play. using it with OBS to stream a video camera.

Been using the Stream Deck for a while now and it makes everything so much easier. Changing scenes in OBS is a breeze, muting and/or deafening Discord with the touch of a button. And the community is always finding new and innovative ways of using the Stream Deck!! A+
