After doing extensive research I went with the P1000. I mostly shoot from a tripod from 45th floor facing both the ocean (East) and the city (West). The quality of time lapse videos of the sunrise and the sunset are just amazing. Here is panoramic example.

I've used these gloves to take outdoor shots in the city and by the ocean. In the past, I've used fingerless gloves, but this winter was too cold to have all fingers uncovered. These were the perfect solution.

Used this for taking pictures of furniture. Worked out great. Photos turned out top notch!

Used this filter to create abstract motion photographs of the ocean. I was able to shoot at an exposure of 30 seconds during late afternoon light(otherwise impossible without this filter). This 10 stop filter is very very dark so you need to compose, focus and then put on the filter as it is virtually impossible to see through the viewfinder once the filter is put on. A++ for creative effects.

Used this in the pool and ocean. It was great. For the kids, I could tighten it and not worry they would lose the camera. I highly recommend this for peace of mind.

Used for whale watching from a headland into the Pacific Ocean. Very effective in cutting glare and letting me see through the glare.

After losing my Nikon AW100 in the lake, I bought a Nikon AW110 and this wriststrap before going to the ocean. Used it while snorkeling and in the pool. Worked just like it was supposed to and I came home with my camera! I only wished it came with a regular wrist strap to attach when not around water.
