Oculus Wireless Vr Headset

Oculus has gone past my expectations. The quest 2 is really great and much better than I expected for a vr headset without a powerful pc.

This is a good VR headset overall. I bought also Elite Straps with additional battery on a back and with case for it. I put on the straps with battery and it looks and feels even better for me personally. But my wife experienced a little discomfort with the weight in the front that headset, it's just a little bit falling in front for her, so image can get a little bit blury, but it's ok since you can fixate it better with that straps. Personally for me everything is cool with comfort. I also bought a link cable to connect them to PC. So now I can easily even play Oculus Rift games too, not only quest games. So for me it's a double win. Plus since I'm a developer, I plan to create some VR apps and I think Oculus Quest 2 was a right choice for me to have a good start.

Let me say first off I am no fan on Facebook or social media in general. That said I am a huge fan of AR/VR and use the Oculus Quest 2 all the time. While a better device overall than the Oculus Quest, the coarse IPD adjustment causes for me the comfort to be significantly reduced. Still a strong recommendation as the premiere standalone VR headset (I use a Valve Index for my PC headset).

Whether you are an experienced gamer looking to try something new or new to gaming altogether, the Oculus offers the unique experience of VR right in your own home. You can download and play games right from the headset without plugging in to anything at all! Charging is quick and easy but the hand controllers are battery powered. Setting up the headset as a new user is friendly enough, but you will need the Oculus App on a separate device. I find the Quest 2 to be quite comfortable and feel most would consider it secure and pleasant as well, but thankfully Oculus has given the Quest 2 a few ways to adjust the headset, including a glasses extender to the headset and multiple ways to tighten and angle the head strap. The games span a large game style range and are a good price. You can game solo or socially. I like being a more physically active gamer in VR with some games while also having the opportunity to sit and relax with other games.

The Oculus Quest 2 is my first ever vr headset. It was so simple and easy to set up which I really liked. The controls are easy to figure out and comfortable. The immersion is amazing. Over all the entire experience is so cool and fun. I'm so glad I made this purchase.

I have absolutely adored my Oculus Quest 2 since the moment I had it in my hands. True wireless VR with only a little bit of setup and some extra accessories is an experience to behold. The setup was easy, and I was playing a VR game within the first 30 minutes. VR has always been blurry for me, but the Quest 2's imagery is crisp and picture perfect. There are accesories galore out there to fix the mainstay issues I have with the Quest 2 [Mainly the lack of head-strap comfort, relatively low battery life]. The Oculus Quest 2 is worth every penny for someone looking to get started with VR, and once Oculus releases the office workspace expansions for doing work in VR, I have no doubt that the usefulness of the Oculus Quest in both personal and professional settings with skyrocket.

I bought this to mount the wigig transceiver for my wireless VIVE VR headset. Fits nicely on end of the fireplace mantle and allows for aiming the transceiver at the center of the play area. Taped the transceiver cable to one of the legs to avoid side pull.
