The off the shelf teleprompters are hideously expensive, and have odd-shaped, usually very low resolution, monitors. The iPad teleprompters require software that does the mirror flip, but that's useless for applications like Zoom. I wanted to just use a standard portable TFT monitor hooked up to my computer.
