It's a beautiful experience listening to deep bass or instrumental music. Call quality is great too and they ares super comfotrable for wearing 2-3hr at a stretch. There are way too many features that I could not test. The connectivity to multiple devices is not very intuitive (TBH I have not seen the tutorial included in the app so it's partially my mistake) Overall, highly recommended.

I listen to classical music and acoustic modern jazzy music (97% instrumental). These headphones sound natural and feel comfortable on my head. If you like the K701 then these are much better. NOTE: They are not bassy; i.e. bass is neutral.

Great little addition to any instrumental setting

I got my XM4s through an official Sony distributor and the service and logistics were great. The box arrived fully sealed and in perfect condition. The headphones are really beautiful and minimalistic. Mine are black ones, the case is really elegant and the charger and the 3.5mm cables are alright, although a bit short and flimsy. I own several pairs of headsets, but my purpose for these ones was to create a relaxing and comfortable reading environment wherever I decide to be in my noisy house or anywhere else. I was thinking that the bass was going to be overpowering but it's really engaging and balanced with the other frequencies. Definitely, they are not loud enough, requiring at least a 20% in volume to reach crazy party levels, but the reason for its existence is to have them for long hours on your ears as a detailed music companion and a disturbing noise cleanser. I'm also using them with a FiiO DAC/AMP Q5s and I can get the performance boost that I need. I haven't experienced any video lag with my tvs, tablet, laptop or phone, so I'm alright with the lack of AptX, although I would prefer to have that codec over many of the useless features. Overall, they are very pleasing to most ears and I definitely recommend them, but please, do not make them your only pair, because you'll need something more well-rounded and powerful for other music genres or for sweaty workouts. I am enjoying this product now that I have been able to download music. Fortunately, I have tech savvy grandkids to help me!

Yeah, will do a Stax setup someday... yet with music download and plugged into my Motorola Power Android... Apologies, yet when experienced the 600s for the first time... the sensitivity, the impedance, the comfort and closure, the experience... Please, these are so perfect and will be worn work, travel, home... OMG! forgiveness please INCREDIBLE! looked long, looked for a perfect phone/kindle/email/everything... and yeah, will go bigger w/folder phone yet am now in audio nirvana... Thank you Harman (Kardon, hey have been around a bit) AKG... the K553 MKII are perfect!!!

The SM57 is an instrumental mic but it still works great as an interview mic as well for videos.

I've used this drive to dj with and it works great. When you download music to it, it is really fast. And it works well when using dj software. Great product!!
