As far as I can tell, this cable is legit. I use it for hdmi out from my Sony A7r II.

Given the fact that this Vello remote is 1/5 the price of the official Sony product, I was skeptical and feared I was throwing my money away. I have the official Sony cable remote for my A7r2 and have been very in satisfied with it. The cable is separate and can disconnect from the switch body when dangling from the camera. It has additional controls intended for video, which I don't use, and the shutter release just was annoying to use. When in use, I could not make adjustments to the shutter or F stop. Strange AND annoying. The Vello is just a shutter release. The cable is permanent to the release body. It works perfectly and I can adjust the camera settings when it is plugged in. For the price, it is a great value, and for my needs is a better product than the Sony, hands down. Recommended.

The cable performs flawlessly as advertised. Compatible with HDMI 2.1 4K @ 120Hz.

Finally the product you can rely on, it's an omni directional, high bandwidth active optical HDMI cable for modern UHD devices. I use it with my gaming rig, sending a 2nd screen option to an LG OLED TV for large screen 4K 120Hz gaming sessions . I tried other brands before and sent back for a refund but the buck stops here. This cable does it all, eARC, HDMI 2.1, 8K 60Hz or 4K 120Hz for XBoX Series X, PS5 or RTX 4080 long distance run.

My new computer has one HDMI and one DisplayPort output and I have two monitors I want to use. This DisplayPort cable lets me use the second monitor now. The 3' length is more than enough without having extra coiled up. My screen is 2056x1080. Since this cable is 4K rated, it works great for my extra wide but not 4K large screen.

Purchased so we could feed 4K TV from 2023 Macbook air using an existing HDMI-HDMI cable. Works perfectly.

On my mac mini 2018 with a 4k monitor, I swapped an HDMI to HDMI cable with this thunderbolt to displayport cable. Huge difference! Before, the entire display was sluggish and unresponsive. Now, the picture is sharp, and the UI is smooth and responsive.

I've been looking for an 4K HDMI cable to send video further than 10 feet from the Blackmagic Pocket 6K to the ATEM Mini. and it works!

I have an older model Ultra and have had no problems with it. It would seem that the majority of problems reported are use fault. There are a bunch of types of HDMI cables, so just because it says it is for 4K doesn't mean it supports all the features that can be used through the HDMI cable. If you buy a low priced cable that says it is for 4K, make sure it supports 2-way communication. I have a mid range priced cable from a well known manufacturer and have 0 problems using it with my Roku. Even when I was using Wi-Fi, I had no problems because I have a good router (even if it is old) and the Roku is within its range. You need to make sure even though the Roku has a long range that your Wi-Fi actually is broadcasting a strong enough far enough to use it. If your signal is only broadcast 50' and the Roku is 75' away, it won't work right, but only because of your Wi-Fi, not because of the Roku.
