was looking for a basic cassette player to transfer old tapes to cd's. works great.

Great features. The phono, cassette recording, and CD works just fine!

I use the cassette deck with my choir. I still have accompaniment trax and demo recordings in cassette form. I can play them through the system or even cut CD's of them by going line out of this tape deck and line in my CD recorder.

It felt like I just replaced the cassette player with the recordable CD player. I thought I was up to date until I learned about this great thumb drive or SD card recorder / player. I can record for up to 20 hours with one 8GB card!

I've been looking for a multiple function unit like this for quite awhile. My CD and Cassette deck players fell into a need for repair and I decided to just replace them with this unit as the budget finally allowed me to do so. This unit is awesome and we are enjoying it immensely! Highly recommend.

For some time now I've wanted to acquire a cassette deck to transfer some irreplaceable recordings to cd. I looked all over. Couldn't find any friends with one to loan, found some scary looking decks in pawn shops, then I searched the net and came up with this one. B&H had the best price. ... The deck is nothing fancy, no remote, very few features but it works great and sounds excellent. Perfect solution.

I have 50-60 cassette tapes with late 50 to early70 music that I needed to convert to CD. This product works for me.

I use these discs to do record and cassette transfers to CD. I NEVER had a bad disc in the hundreds of discs that I have used. These discs look great and just work every time. Do not hesitate to get a spindle of these discs.

I have an old bookshelf stereo system (3 CD player, cassette, and radio) at my summer home. The speakers still put out a beautiful sound so I connect the Bluetooth adapter and am now able to play music from my phone, iTunes, Pandora, etc. A terrific value!

My component cassette and CD players, after a long and useful life, recently died. I needed replacements when discovering this TASCAN unit. Perfect. Connected it to my vintage Marantz tuner/amp (which is also connected to turntable and reel-to-reel). That meant I could dub old cassette tapes, reel-to-reel tape recordings, and vinyl onto a USB, plug the USB into my MacBook Pro and insert the tunes into my music library. From there, burn CDs or dub onto SD cards or simply enable Airplay to send a playlist downstairs through Apple TV to the amp and speakers there. Read the instructions for operation on the Tascam unit; they're simple. You will be astonished with the frequency response and low noise/harmonic distortion of this product. Well worth the price, too.
