Old Model Waterproof Lumix Camera

I recently had a kayak race in mid-Missouri and wanted to take my waterproof Olympus camera, I charged the battery overnight and tried it the next day. Only to find that the battery wouldn't hold a charge! This model (850SW) has been replaced by newer models so the battery isn't one that you can go to a big box store and pick one up (although those stores did carry take model at one time). I was looking to buy these for my Lumix G9 for a while and finally found ones I can use with Autofocus. The contacts on this model lets your camera autofocus easily. When shooting bugs or tiny objects this is essential! Many of the others I have tried lack that ability. Also you get 2 of them so my options for macro shots are greatly expanded. The storage bag is nice and will keep them clean and dust free , so I dont transfer dust into my sensor. Lastly I figured out you can combine the 2 of them to gain a closer view on the subject - next I will try to shoot ants! Been enjoying these. this is our 4th GH5 from earlier model to this Mark ll. The improvement Lumix has made makes it our go to camera for beautiful cinematic imaging to photography as well. I have sold my G9 and now use this GH5 mark ll for both. The gh6 is out but though there are a few nice perks there are a few that have been removed and we see no reason to go to a GH6.

I upgraded to this new model from an old Lumix and I cant say enough about it for what I use it for. First of all, it will never be a high end body and a professional lens. But thats not what I purchased it for. I love taking photos of birds for my own ID and enjoyment and I am very satifisfied with the clarity this camera gives me for the price. I went on an outing to a wildlife refuge with photographers who were carrying their big, expensive lenses. We compared shots. In good light you couldnt tell mine from theirs. But the main difference is in the cameras softness in less than adequate light. Im okay with that compromise. When I go out walking I carry this camera on a harness around my neck, my binoculars and also carry a scope on a tripod. I hardly know the camera is around my neck its so light. I think it produces terrific quality for a terrific price. Ive attached an image of White Tailed Kite talons taken from a distance.

This was a replacement for a 5 plus year old flashlight (same model). Old one stopped working, Coast promptly replaced it at no charge! Great customer service!

MY NEW SONY UBP-X7004K HD BLU-RAY PLAYER IS BETTER THAN MY OLD MODEL AND MY OLD MODEL WAS TERRIFIC !

Have baby R6RT version. This one bigger for more stuff. Got Bigger back wheels model. Old one only complaint was non-slip tape came off (get more HomeDepot). Backpack straps fall through. Think about making own solid base or buy theirs.

I use it to power a Lumix BGH1 camera.

Fits my gopro camera and waterproof housing.
