This tripod is a pleasure to use. Very nicely made and designed, it has a wonderfully solid and really right feel to it. 66 is very tall for me, which adds weight and length in terms of packing and backpacking. But the TFC-24 is too short for me, so there you go. 5 |

This tripod is superb of general use, while being compact enough for travel use if planned. It's solid, tall enough for 6ft person. Super build quality, and value for money, it's hitting up there with RRS for quality and essential features. 5 |

Very tall, very stable, very large ball head. Excellent! I decided to go for a little more than the standard entry level tripod and ball head, and glad I did. The 4 controls on the head are very useful - one for general friction of ball, one for 360 degree panning, one for safety catch on camera attachment (turn, pull out and one twist to release camera is the only way the camera will release/come loose from the tripod) and one last general friction control for everything. Good weight of tripod, definitely not a hiker's tripod but exactly what I wanted - solid and heavy enough. Good sold buy! B&H is the best, and I WILL keep coming back... 5 |
