Oled 27 Inch Monitor 240Hz

This monitor is really amazing. I had a moment of this is what color looks like?! at first, similar to when I got higher end speakers and said this is what music sounds like?!. I learned a lot about WOLED (current LG tvs) vs true RGB OLED (this panel) and how JOLED makes this specific display. Prior I had a 27 inch HP (S2721QS) and the main use is a workstation PC working from home and occasional light gaming. While the monitor is way overkill for my use (I don't do content creation or color correction), I love it and have no regrets even when considering the steep price point. That's just how it is right now given the manufacturing of this size OLED hardly exists. Sadly this is not as bright as my HP but blows it away in everything else. The viewing angles are crisp and improved and while I previously thought 27 inches was perfect for a workstation, I am now sold on the 31.5 inch size. I have enabled dark mode on every application and website that I can and the colors are just electric and amazing. The stand is ugly at the base but still nicely functional, I have the LG mounted on an Ergotron HX Desk Monitor Arm and even though the LG is far below the weight minimum it works just fine. At first I was confused why the bezels are so large but I've realized it needs some form of casing and it benefits from the large casing when I grab the monitor and move/tilt it on the monitor arm. I could do without the USB hub integrated and my real only dislike of this monitor is the noise the settings menu navigator makes upon pressing. Yes OLED monitors will get less expensive but sadly it will take a lot more time, and by that time micro LED or QDOLED might be the successor. Again, the size, the pixel density, the experience using this in the evening, the HDR, it's all just gorgeous. 5 |

I can confidently say that this 32 4K QD-OLED Monitor is exceptional. The 240Hz refresh rate delivers an incredibly smooth experience that's hard to match. Its ultra-thin bezel enhances the viewing area, providing a clean and expansive display. The color reproduction on this monitor is truly stunning, offering rich and vibrant hues that captivate the eye. The deep, inky blacks further elevate the visual quality, and the glossy screen adds a touch of realism, making images pop. Considering its price point, this monitor offers unparalleled value. Additionally, the 3-year OLED burn-in warranty provides peace of mind, making it a standout choice in its category. Highly recommend! 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently upgraded to the Samsung 32” Odyssey OLED G8 Gaming Monitor, and the difference is nothing short of spectacular. The color quality is awesome, thanks to the OLED technology. Unlike normal LED screens that go to a dark gray when displaying black, this monitor achieves true black by turning the pixels all the way off. This contrast creates a more vivid and immersive viewing experience. The HDR support further enhances the color, making games and videos look even more lifelike. The monitor itself is massive compared to my old one, which means I can only run one monitor due to the size of my desk. But honestly, with a screen this impressive, I don't feel like I need a second monitor. One of the standout features is the 240Hz display. This high refresh rate lets my new beefy computer perform at its best, allowing for up to 240 frames per second. My old monitor could only handle 144Hz, so the jump to 240Hz has made gaming incredibly smooth. The difference in gameplay is noticeable, especially in high-impact games where graphics are a key selling point. The monitor also comes with its own USB output, which is super handy for plugging in a charger directly. Another great feature is the onboard media center, allowing me to install apps like Netflix and stream shows with the same stunning color quality and fidelity. Overall, gaming on the Samsung 32” Odyssey OLED G8 is a dream. The combination of true black, HDR support, and 240Hz refresh rate makes every game look better and run smoother than ever before. If you're looking for a top-tier gaming monitor, this one is definitely worth considering. 5 |

Love everything about this monitor. I was on a 27 1440p 270Hz IPS monitor for the past few years and finally decided to try OLED out. The colors and motion clarity are amazing. 5 |

Best 27 1440P OLED on the market hands down, gorilla glass gives it so much clarity while reduces glare and reflections a noticeable amount. Needed a firmware update because of issues with Fullscreen games upscaling to 4k 120hz and reducing refresh rate but other than that every other aspect of this monitor is perfect. Got mine used for 600$ because of some minor gaps in the back plastic behind the display, totally worth it. Significantly brighter than other monitors with the exact same LG panel, and the OSD works great with a lot of OLED care options. I would never EVER order directly or even pre-order from Dough/Eve, but Amazon/B&H ARE solid distributors. Threw it on a cheap 25$ monitor arm and I won't be upgrading unless Dough releases the rumored 4k 27 variant next year. Only real issue is the text clarity that comes with ALL 1440p OLEDs but disabling ClearType for Chrome only, solved my issues, passable text in chrome and on windows. Some people report sensitivity to PWM-controlled brightness and I thought I did too but I just had to reduce my whitepoint and that removed all fatigue. 5 |

This is a fantastic monitor arm. It's easy to set up. It is well balanced. I have a 27 inch monitor that works fantastic on it. 5 |

I own 3 of these for a portable triple monitor setup. I'm tired of seeing only 1080p or 4K 15.6 inch monitors. 1080p isn't often enough. 4K is a little overkill and you might as well change the resolution on your desktop to 2.5K. Well, this is a native 2.5K display. Oh and it's 16:10 aspect ratio so it's actually 2560x1600. The extra height is glorious for working in Davinci Resolve, Blender, and any other program. It also has full size HDMI which is very rare for quality portable monitors. Don't buy the garbage you see floating around on Amazon when it comes to portable monitors. Buy the ASUS. ViewSonic also has some quality options. I like ViewSonic's 1080p OLED, the physical design is better but it's micro HDMI and well ... it could have been 2.5K. Overall ... as of 2024 this is literally the best portable IPS OLED monitor that's affordable you can buy. I used my xRite color calibration tool to calibrate each monitor to 400 nits and Rec709. You can confidently color grade on these. They have minimal back light bleed. ASUS has been releasing 2.5K 15.6 inch 16:10 (same resolution) OLED panels in some of their latest laptops, so we might see a new Zenscreen like this in 2025 as an OLED panel. However, you can't go wrong with a tried and true IPS panel. These are great. Go for it! 5 |
