I did a test on our Youtube channel Film Jams comparing this 20-35mm side-by-side with the 23mm GF f/4 and the 23mm is slightly better and vignettes less, but once you apply corrections in camera RAW, they're very close. I think the autofocus is also slightly better on the 23mm. The 20-35mm lens goes down to f/22 while the 23mm goes all the way down to f/32 which has saved me on some long exposure sunset shots (when I forgot to pack my ND's)...so overall the 20-35mm seems very versatile and similar in quality to the 23mm lens - if you plan to post process your images.
