It helped me make my Olympus 35 RC a shooter.

This is really cute and works really well on my Olympus 35 RC. The O-ring under the stem is a really nice touch and it keeps the button from unscrewing randomly. This allows me to press my shutter button more smoothly when I'm shooting at low shutter speeds.

I first used this in a test of several BW films and was very pleased with the result. Then used it with a recently purchased Olympus 35 RC (1970s) and it offered some additional speed without going to ISO 400. Worked quite well for those sunny but cloudy afternoons and cityscape work where ISO 100 might be a bit too slow. The image quality of the negative is great.

The best described in http://rangefinder.yodobashi.com/lens/carlzeiss_wide_e.html This very best lens captures the reality with the highest fidelity, and it represents ZEISS philosophy !!! I used Hasselblad with three lenses. Zeiss CF's 40, 80, 150mm and to be honest I miss their drawings even today. Some Zeiss lenses are special, and this new 35mm distagon is real example of mature optical formula with strong Zeiss character. There is very nice balance of sharpnes wide open and bokeh. I am impressed with this lens on my M monochrome and can't wait to use it on my film body with Kodak film. I have used Leica 28cron, 50lux asph, 35 summilux asph FLE, and personaly like this lens way better then 35 lux fle. I'm an old-school 35mm film kind of guy, but eventually graduated to digital about 10 years ago. I've found the miniature point & shoots are capable of producing great results for every day shots and when travelling, but, of course, typically lack the ability to be creative. When the Micro Four Third cameras gained more popularity with semi-professionals and serious amatuers, I loved the idea of acquiring a compact camera with manual controls, a relatively large sensor, capable of using interchangeable lenses. Initially, I planned on buying a Panasonic GF-1, but when it was discontined (what a huge blunder that was), I looked more seriously at the Olympus line-up. With the added refinements and new features the E-PL2 offers over the E-PL1, it was a no-brainer. I've had it just a week and am still reading the manual every night -- trying to get a grip on the incredible capabilities of this camera. I'm heading to Honolulu in 3 weeks and can't wait to use it there. The engineers at Olympus have done a magnificent job in terms of style, design, control layout, and overall build quality. Buying the E-PL2 was one of the smartes purchases I've ever made.

Got this hood for my 49mm lens that I (still) use on my Olympus OM-1 35mm SLR film camera. Fit & finish is great & works just fine.

If you are a Leica fan, a 35mm film shooter, and believe in the virtues of the rangefinder system, the MP will satisfy your needs. It is a lot of money, but it is a brilliant piece of gear that will do what you want it to do. I use two other Leica cameras, M6's, so this the perfect addition to my system. You will be glad you made the purchase.

I have an Olympus 14-35mm f/2.0 for my E-3 and found that the performance was extraordinary as a prime quality zoom. No flash needed for existing light with the E-3 Image Stabilizer. So, I began to imagine the potential of having that kind of quality at f/2.0 in the 35-100mm range. I tried one on an E-3 for a moment and then just ordered one! The Olympus 35-100mm f/2.0 is a perfect complement to the Olympus 14-35mm f/2.0 and now I am considering getting a second E-3 body!
