Olympus Cbg 12 Camera Backpack

I use this as a case for my Olympus M.Zuiko 12-50mm lens (the kit for the OM-D E-M5). It fits perfectly, and I never worry about the lens when I put it in my backpack. The material makes the top part of the case stick to the bottom so I can't imagine it opening in my backpack. Would buy again (and probably will if I get a similar-sized lens in the future). 5 |

This backpack has room for my Olympus OM-D EM1 with 12-40 lens, another prime lens, the small flash and other accessories in the camera section with plenty of room in the roll top for headphones, a book and a light jacket. My iPad, passport and phone go in the front zipper section and a water bottle and travel tripod fit in the side pockets. The perfect carryon bag for a flight to wherever i am off to next. 5 |

Fits my Olympus 12-100 snugly and works well. 5 |

Even though the Olympus 12-40 is on my camera about 80% of the time, just about all my photos that I think are WOW end up being from this lens. For somebody who shoots a lot of landscapes, this lens is a must. 5 |

The lens is very useful with Olympus OM-D E-M5. The kit 12-50/3.5-6.3 is too dark at the long end to be usable indoors (it is f/5.1 at 25mm already), so the 40-150 takes care of the problem in the 40-50 mm range. The 40-150mm is simple and very light (lighter than even the 12-50, and all competing Panasonic lenses - 45-150, 45-175 and 45-200). Also it accepts Olympus MCON-P01 Macro Converter for cheap macro ability. Focus and aperture are silent and quick. The value with the camera was great, a must buy with an Olympus m43 camera (i.e. with in-body image stabilization), for current Panasonic cameras it is better to use a stabilized zoom unless you always shoot from a tripod. 5 |

I bought this external flash because the Olympus 12-60mm f2.8-4mm ED SWD lens that I use casts a shadow when using the built-in camera flash. I stayed with the Olympus label instead of using another, less expensive brand, and I am glad that I did. It's great that you can mount the flash on the camera, turn it on, and the camera and flash communicate automatically--straight out of the box. The flash automatically adjusts the dispersion pattern to match the focal length of your lens. I think the recharge on the flash is adequate if you use fresh lithium batteries. This particular model is quite compact and light. 5 |

I currently have 12 cameras including full frame, apsc and M43 bodies. The brands include Nikon, Pentax, Panasonic and Sony. This little beauty is the camera I use most often for casual walk-around shooting. I only shoot raw with my other cameras but this produces some of the nicest JPEGS, so it's the only one that I use mainly for JPEGs. The scene modes are effective especially the HDR for landscapes takes care of high-contrast scenes that are difficult to expose properly. The art filters are fun. There are a lot of settings to modify JPEGs. If you shoot raw, use the free Olympus Workspace software to process because it is really written to support Oly bodies best. It is very light and the grip is better than any Olympus except for the E-M1 models. It is a delight to hold. The pancake kit lens is better than I expected although it really shines when paired with one of the many small Olympus primes. I especially enjoy it with the 25/1.8 and 60/3.5macro prime lenses. If the joy of photography is important to you, consider this camera even if there are more pro bodies out there. 5 |

As an owner of the Ursa Mini Pro 4.6K, this the perfect B camera. Paired with the Olympus 12-40 Zoom it is a great walk around camera. Theres just too many times that I see something for the reel or for stock but the idea of setting up the Ursa to shoot just a few seconds when the light is right, just doesnt make sense. The images are gorgeous, and I cannot wait until Braw is available for this camera. 5 |

I wanted a bag to carry just my mirrorless Olympus with the 12-100mm lens plus a wallet, sunglasses and phone. This bag is the perfect size to carry what I want and is comfortable yet well-made to protect the camera. I like having the rain cover available and a belt loop. The bag is nice enough to carry like a purse yet offers easy access to my camera. 5 |

I'm an advanced photographer and have used Olympus equipment for the past 12- 13 years. The main reason I bought this camera was for its retro look and the fact that I can use all of my other Olympus lenses. I have used it to shoot up an down the Las Vegas Strip and it has not let me down. Plus, its a fun camera to shoot. I don't use the video feature that much but it is fun to play with. All in all a very nice piece of equipment. Don't even mind not having a built in flash. 5 |
