Olympus E 520 Digital Slr Camera

I have used this product with my Olympus E-520 camera, not a expert, but I do like how light and small the lens is. Great bang for the buck. easy to use and takes great pictures for me (novice photographer).

I've been shooting with an Olympus E-520 for 2 years, but it's a little big for travel and fast lenses for it are pricey. I eagerly awaited the E-P3, but now that it's been released, I see that the E-PL2 does everything I want a camera to do for substantially less money. Paired with the 20mm 1.7 Panasonic lens, this camera is the perfect night-out or travel camera -- amazing pics in a small size. Looking forward to the upcoming Olympus 45mm 1.8 as well. On note: Be prepared to spend a few hours learning to use the menus. The manual -- like all Olympus manuals -- is fairly useless, but there are tons of resources online.

A good size for an SLR or lower profile Digital camera. and a lens or two.

I am essentially an event photographer and much of my work is done inside buildings. The FL50R along with my Olympus Evolt 520 seem to be the ideal combination for that type of work. I never have to wait for recycling and the power it puts out is incredible.

I recently purchased this lens with the hope of enhancing my portrait and close up shots with my Olympus E-520. What a great buy it turned out to be! I love to take shots this time of year of flowers. With this lens, the photo jumps off the page at you. You can almost feel the texture of the petals. It takes great portraits as well. I would highly recommend this lens as an addition to anyone's arsenal.
