Olympus Pen Half Frame Cameras

I shot one roll of this as a camera test of an Olympus Pen EE half frame camera, so I have no baseline to compare it to, but I was pleased with the results. I developed with cinestill D96 mono bath. It's the first roll of B&W film I've processed in 17 years and it could not have been easier. I would highly recommend this film for practice, camera tests, and possibly general use if you are on a budget.

I bought this hood for my Olympus Pen F half frame 20mm lens. The hood helps block stray light as it’s supposed to. The fit and finish are quite good, especially considering the price. Satin black on the outside and matte inside. There’s a short bit of threading at the front, 62mm diameter, that will accommodate either a pinch cap or threaded cap, even a filter if needed. Although it’s a lot more modern looking than the lens, it blends in fairly well. It would probably look like a factory accessory on a modern lens.

I use this for black & white photos on my vintage Olympus Pen half frame, I couldn't be happier with the results. Solid high quality filter at a very reasonable price. No complaints here!

I use the Vello Canon EF/EF-S mount to use old Canon EF zoom lens on my Olympus Pen micro 4/3 cameras. It serves that purpose well. A caveat, probably already known to most, is that auto-focus lenes will work only in the manual mode.

I've always loved Olympus. From my Pen EE to my OM-2 film cameras and now this OM-D E-M5 Mark III, Olympus has always been my preference. This camera is light and easy to handle. It's packed with features that make it easy to use. In my opinion this is the best camera for non-professionals at an intermediate to advanced level.

This is my second purchase. This time as a gift for my friend. Half Frame Camera is so fun to use. But be careful with your images due this is fix aperture and shutter camera (f.9 and 1/100 shutter)
