Olympus Waterproof Camera Images

I use this to hold my waterproof Olympus Tough TG-2 while kayaking. Everybody who sees it marvels at the uncomplicated and easy to use design, which allows solid hands-free filming but also drops the camera face down at pull of a tab to turn video on/off, check images, or frame a still, zoom, etc. I tell them it is just as great as it looks. Feels totally comfortable and secure, fits smoothly overtop of my life jacket with good range of adjustment, gives me needed access with no fuss detaching from screw mount to hand camera to others. My one suggestion for improvement: make screw mount bolt from stainless, rustproof materials. Very hard to clean out all water after a day of action, and grease or oil don't mix with my camera or other apparel. Overall I would say this rig beats GoPro hands down, and others who see me using it agree. (I did try GoPro system first, sent it back). This one is a keeper!

I wanted a simple, nice-looking, responsive, waterproof bag for carrying just a camera with a lens attached. There needed to be room for a spare SD card, battery and lens cloth. In my case the camera and lens in question is an Olympus OM-5 (they are all the same size) and Olympus 12-40mm f2.8. This fits perfectly with room for pretty much nothing else - and that's what I had in mind. I'm not sure Think Tank is still making these but they are good.

I bought a Filson waterproof bag so I could take my Olympus camera with me in the canoe. I needed to add padding to the bag to protect the gear; and give it a fitted resting place. The foam insert for a Pelican 1400 waterproof box fit perfectly and did the job.

I recently had a kayak race in mid-Missouri and wanted to take my waterproof Olympus camera, I charged the battery overnight and tried it the next day. Only to find that the battery wouldn't hold a charge! This model (850SW) has been replaced by newer models so the battery isn't one that you can go to a big box store and pick one up (although those stores did carry take model at one time). B&H to the rescue!! ... Thanks - Kirk Freels

I use this lens on my BMPCC, BMPCC4K and my Olympus camera! Stunning images both for cinematography and photography. In the hands of the right person this lens is a pure joy. I own the 17.5mm as well as the 42.5mm. Love them all! Worth every penny and then some...

E-5 is the best Olympus 43rds camera ever, and probably the best value camera system among all manufacturers at the moment. E-5 is a significant upgrade over already excellent E-3 improving at all points and adding some new features. However, the most important feature is the virtually non-existent AA filter and new processing making images you get from E-5 better than anything on the market. The detail, color and contrast with better Olympus lenses will blow you away. Autofocus is improved as well over E-3 and it's much better at AF-C and tracking than ever before. There's much more to E-5 than you'd think looking at the specs, but you really need better Olympus lenses (high and super high grade) to exploit all the advantages of E-5 and you will be rewarded with fantastic results which don't require post-processing to look great. This is the camera which makes the best looking images with quality glass and if you're interesting in photography and work outdoors frequently - it's one of the best you can buy.

This is a great little camera that's a joy to use. Couple this camera with pancake lenses from Olympus and/or Panasonic and you have a high quality travel kit that goes anywhere and delivers fine images. The in-body image stabilization works very well with any lens, even those wonderful old rangefinder lenses from established makers. Low light images aren't bad at all, but the current 12mp sensor is a step behind the best APS sized sensors (in terms of noise performance and dynamic range) from Nikon and Canon. However, It is a giant step ahead of any cell phone or true compact that I have used. Fast lenses help dramatically! Please give us more of them Olympus and Panasonic! IMHO, at the base ISO, this camera delivers about the best in-camera jpegs - in terms of general color and skin tone - that I have seen. No kidding!

I am a long time Nikon user, with my last being the D500. I had to sell that camera and all the gear I had with it a few years back when times got a bit tough. I recently was able to afford another camera, and after some research and a very good recommendation from a valued friend I decided on the Olympus E-M5 Mark III. I was honestly a bit hesitant going to a mirrorless camera due to the smaller size, and the four-thirds sensor as well. But I have been well pleased with the results I am getting from this little beast. I have included a few images that I have captured using the 75-300mm lens I bought along with the camera. I have been extremely happy with the Moon pics I have grabbed so far, being it is one of my favorite things to photograph. If I had one slightly negative thing to say, it would be that the camera seems to be a little grainy in low light situations. I am sure I will be able to improve the results as I reacquire the knowledge of photography I am a bit rusty on. I will add I do have a 25mm 1.8, a 45mm 1.8, and a 12-50mm 3.5-6.3 set of lenses. So I am not trying to take low-light photos with the 75-300mm I have. All in all I am very happy with my purchase and look forward to taking many more pics with my Olympus camera. If you are looking for a solid mirrorless camera under $1K that will deliver great images, you will not be disappointed with the E-M5 Mark III.

Got this as bundled savings along with my olympus em5 mark ii camera for $. The lens gives sharp images and is very light weight. Like the colors, contrast and sharpness from this lens. For the price excellent value for money. The only issue is olympus dont supply lens hood with lens and we have to buy third party lens adapters

I use this lens on my original BMPCC, BMPCC4K, and Olympus camera for stills photography. The images both for video and stills are breathtaking! Love the all manual operation! Forces you to be a better photographer/cinematographer. Awesome low light lens! Awesome shallow depth of field! Awesome for portraits and extreme close ups on anything. Amazing build quality all around! A pleasure to work with! This lens is for people who are true artists. It inspires you to think and feel. The results are always magnificent, and the price is one fifth of what it really should be.
