Omnisphere 2.5 Computer To Keyboard

Great improvement for any computer using either a 1TB 3.5 HDD or 2.5 HDD or smaller capacity.

Ive been looking at this for quite some time.  I already own Omnisphere.  I made the purchase, B&H had the best price and I really like the instrument.  Good buy!

This is the second Zagg Case/Keyboard I have owned. It’s the only keyboard that I have found that allows me to type as I would on a full sized computer keyboard.

This IOGEAR GCS110-4 4-Port KVMP switch is my first purcahse of this type of gear...should have bought one years ago. I had checked out one of the other brands, but the manufacturer's web-site had the same photo and description for two models, very confusing. I am using this switch with three computer, Win7, Win8.1 and a Linux rig. I keep the fourth port open for testing other computers, no need to connect one being tested to a separate keyboard and mouse setup. This switch allows me to easily switch between computers via keyboard shortcuts. I have a Logitech Keyboard and Mouse which share a single wireless USB dongle, plugging the dongle into the keyboard USB port of the monitor area of the switch allows me to use the keyboard and mouse on all computers. I did have to uninstall the Logitech software which allowed for custom keyboard layout (volume up/down, next track, etc.) as it seemed to conflict with the way the KVMP switch emulated Keyboard and Mouse Control...not an issue for me in this case. I am not a hard-core gamer, thus do not have a mouse with 92 buttons on it..more of a FPS and Flight Sim guy here. I like the fact that I can switch the keyboard/mouse, Vidoe and USB separately from the audio, that is I can have music playing on one computer, switch the Keyboard/Mouse, Video, and USB to another computer and still hear the music from the first computer. I have all my external drives and printers connected directly to the Win7 computer working as a server for all my data. I have a USB hub connected to the KVMP input which is accessed by whichever computer I am using for such things as my web-cam, joystick, multimedia card reader, and ID CAC Card Reader. I started taking IT classes and now I can easily do remote access, learned how to access Windows Shared Folders from the Linux box...and more, having the computers side by side with one control system is a Godsend. I would recommend this switch to anyone considering such a purchase.

This is a great product. I've converted a few computers from the old HDD drives to SSD drives and I use this dock whenever I need to access the data from the older drives. This is working perfectly. It is described as plug and play, and I can verify that is true. It works right away for me, no need for drivers. I connected it and it was seen immediately by my computer. This dock is also very versatile. It can hold 3.5 hard drives (HDD) as well as 2.5 drives (SSD). I'm thinking of buying some of the 2.5 SSD's to use with this for storage and back-ups, which will save me the expense of buying enclosures. Comes with a USB-B to USB-A 3.2 cable which is a nice addition. Being hot-swappable is convenient. And this might sound silly, but I like that it has a power button so I can leave it connected to my computer but turn it off when not in use. I really like that feature. This hard drive dock is working just as advertised and I'm very happy with it. [I have received this product in exchange for my honest review]

I use it for a 1 gb 2.5 ssd data disk and a 3 tb 3.5 back up drive. Works great, much faster than the usb 3 set up I previously had with my MacPro. It stays connected and and senses when the computer powers up then to powers both the drives. It automatically powers down when you turn off the computer. A Very good purchase.

This device is a wonderful thing to have. You can connect it to most SSD or 2.5 inch laptop drives. What you cannot do is use it to hook up a standard disk drive that requires 12 VDC as this draws poser from the USB port. The main use for me is to hook up a SSD containing my virtual machines. That way the VMs can be moved from computer to computer with little effort.
