I bought this to use with my 2015 Macbook pro 15 and it works as intended (Full res 75Hz, sRGB mode) with a thunderbolt to display port cable. Colors are as accurate as my mac display although the mac might have just a little more contrast but in day to day usage, you really won't notice. Ergonomics gets a 10/10 and I've set this up at full stand height with vertical arrangement of the two displays. Didn't go for the PA278CV since my laptop doesn't have a USB-C port, it's pricier and the display panel is more or less the same. Overall, I'm really satisfied with my purchase. Highly recommend if you want a monitor for productivity and content creation. 5 |

I use this cable with a Macbook Pro laptop and a Sony A7iv, which has a full size USB-C port. It works well, using the Imaging Edge software. I would get the 15' size (vs 10') - the extra 5' don't get in the way and give you some safety margin. I like the bright orange color that helps me to avoid tripping over it. 5 |
