One Direction Wireless Microphone

Wish that a wireless remote that will work from any direction was available at a reasonable price. I am often behind the camera when I use the remote.

This is the best and simple way to replace my wireless microphone issue.

I primarily need the DM-E1 microphone to work in the forward shotgun direction for applications in the human speech audio range. The DM-E1 seems to do this well. I did not test its frequency response nor how the microphone works in stereo mode.  I do not think that Canon offers any camera bodies that will direct the digital electronic signal of a cable-free microphone through the hot-shoe. This would allow for Canon engineers to provide an upgraded cable-free version of this microphone. However, the lack of cable-free capability does not influence my five-star rating for the DM-E1.

I bought this microphone as a replacement to the Sennheiser ME2 Omni Lavalier Wireless Microphone System and I have to say, it is amazing quality. I can't even tell the difference between the manufactured Sennhesier and this Pearstone. I use this microphone in corporate studio shoots, in house astrology horoscope shoots, and for weddings. Highly impressed with the sound this lavalier produces for its price.

I have a RØDE Wireless Go (wireless microphone) that I use with my iPhone, iPad, DJI Osmo Pocket, and Nikon Z6 camera. As versatile as it is, I also wanted to be able to use it with my RØDECaster Pro and my Zoom H6, both of which have XLR jacks to record individual audio tracks. That’s where this RØDE VXLR+ comes in — it just allows me to connect a mic with a TRS jack to an XLR input. It’s basic, and it works. RØDE makes great products, including this one.
