One Foot Lightning Extender Cable

Using the 6 foot cable to power my lightning charger on my nightstand. Excellent cable.

Yep it's a 5' foot cable and does what it's supposed to do.

It's a 6 foot cable and it works. Exactly what I ordered.

I use this extender with my 300mm lens in all sorts of weather. Recently, I was on a 23-foot skiff in Head Harbor Passage between Maine and New Brunswick, calm seas but -11F, shooting seabirds through the sea smoke. This was my first real test of the lens. We were able to get close enough to Bonaparte's Gulls and Long-tailed ducks to take some of the best photos I ever shot. It was a tough choice between this extender with a 300mm lens and a UV haze filter or a 100-400 zoom. Given the ruggedness of the extender, I was quite pleased with its performance in such cold.

Great add on foot extender for long lenses, even if the OEM foot has ARCA grooves. Helps adjust the center of gravity and adds space between the foot and lens body for easy carry.

Having rented this lens several times, I decided to buy it. It is remarkably light and can be handheld, considering the good vibration reduction. Although the aperture is f/5.6 wide open, the bokeh is still very nice, which surprised me having used a 400mm f/2.8 for years. Having a filter ring on the front, this is a good lens for solar photography, since a solar filter can be attached. However, I find a polarizing filter slows the lens a bit too much. The only negative is the foot, which I've replaced with an after-market foot which fits an arca-swiss head. I chose the Wimberly, which is adequate but not easily removable. With a Nikon D850, this lens if usable with a 1.4x extender, but auto focus is not possible with a 2x extender. I am pleased with this lens and highly recommend it.

Excellent extender. I prefer to use this wiht CAT6 cable

The only thing is we had to go to ... and buy a 25 foot cable for this to hook it into the system.
