I had an F-Stop pack some years ago, I think a now-discontinued model, but it got stolen out of my car - luckily empty. Anyway, like I remember with the previous one, the Loka is well designed and well made. It's comfortable and has plenty of space for my needs. Light weight too, but remember you gotta get an ICU in there and, depending on which one you get, it can double the weight. Would like a selection of colors - preferring something that blends in a bit more with the environment - but that's not a big deal to me. I'm pleased with the purchase.

This is a handy device to have. I often stop at certain spots along coastal highways to shoot photos of shore birds. In many cases they'll fly away if you exit the vehicle, but will stay where they are if you don't exit the car. The window mount is a great way to steady the camera, by using a ball head on top of it. Be sure to shut off the car to eliminate engine vibrations.

While I haven't yet learnt to use it fully, I feel it is going to be just what I was looking for. Keeping notes of a journey in the car, I usually have to stop, get a pen and paper to take notes (lone occupant). This gadget is easy to turn on, record, and off and be hands-free while driving.
