I purchased these speakers as height speakers for an Atmos 5.1.2 setup with my Onkyo TX-NR646 receiver. I am no expert or audio techno geek, just an average listener that enjoys great surround sound with my movies. These speakers are very reasonably priced and sound great to me so far. The paint-able screen and bezel feature allowed me to attractively blend them into the ceiling. Very happy with them. 5 |

Excellent speakers for the price point. I connected these to my new Onkyo TX-8220 and everything is coming in loud and clear! They feel like the Goldilocks of speakers--not too bright, not too warm, but just right. 5 |

We decided to go wireless and use Sonos to take away clutter and facilitate streaming and different music playback options in different rooms at the same time. We used to have an Onkyo 2 zone receiver running two amazing outdoor Bose speakers (prewired in our home) and a Bose Accousitmass 10 sorround system in our family room. To play the speakers outside we had to play the same thing in the Family room. It sounded good though. We replaced the Onkyo and indoor Bose surround with a Sonos Soundbar and we are 110% happy with that. We also bought a Sonos Amp to run the outdoor speakers. Now we can play different things in the different areas and the sound quality is phenomenal. The amp has more power and clarity than the old Onkyo receiver. I know this is a really expensive option, but for us, it was completely worth the investment! 5 |

I bought this receiver to replace my 20+ yo Onkyo TX-NR900 that finally gave out on me. I took another reviewer's advice by going with the NR6100 over a higher model because they said the extra 20 watts was not worth paying twice as much. Plus, there was no need to have 9.2-channels just to play records in my den. I'm very happy I did because this receiver is every bit a worthy 2023 successor to my old, trusty, NR900. It does everything I need and more! The built-in bluetooth is nice and having a central hub that connects all of your devices via HDMI really helps organize your entertainment options. I haven't even explored wireless speaker options yet and looking forward to streaming some tunes to the back porch. Before buying this receiver, I tried with a Denon DRA-800H and it was a disaster. I'm thankful for B&H's return policy and would definitely purchase from them again. 5 |

I added this sub to my Onkyo TX-8270 receiver with a pair of Klipsh Reference Premier 800 floor standing speakers. The sub added just the right amount of bass and is easily adjusted with the gain and cutoff knobs on the back. Once I got the level sounding good for playing music as well as the TV sound it needed no further adjustments to work well with all sound. 5 |

sub is paired with a couple of Klipsch KSF10.5 synergy towers and an Onkyo TXNR676 receiver. Klipsch makes some of the best speakers. 5 |

We wanted to extend our Stereo system to other parts of the house, and after some research, I settled on this BT device. I'm using the BTA30 on the zone 2 (RCA analog) output of an Onkyo TX-8555 receiver to transmit to bluetooth enabled speakers and sound bars around the house. Since the Onkyo does not have digital audio out, I used an analog to digital audio converter** to go from the RCA output on the receiver to the digital TOSLINK input on the BTA30. Setup was simple and straightforward, just remember that the BTA30 has a volume knob, so remember to turn it at least halfway - i had left it all the way down and was trouble shooting for several minutes until I noticed the knob position - turned it up and it worked! I am experiencing a wee bit of latency if I'm listening to the same music in both zones at the same time, but that's most likely because the speakers I'm transmitting to are not APTX capable. In all, it's not that big of an issue, just something to be aware of. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with the BTA30 - and the B&H shopping and shipping experience is second to none! **If you don't have a digital output available, you will need an analog to digital audio converter that accepts RCA audio inputs and digital TOSLINK output. You could use the BH #GEATVDA to accomplish this. 5 |

Hooked them up to an 105w per channel Onkyo amp from 2010. They benefit from having a sub like most bookshelf speakers. These speakers cover music quite well.i Haven't watched a HD movie with them yet but I'm sure they would do fine. I'm pleased with the purchase, and they are not too bright for my taste. I'd call them clear, as I can hear many instruments clearly. But feed them an HD signal and they sound great. 5 |
