Open Hardware Monitor Not Showing Fan Curves R8

The specs of this laptop are by great for the price! And the feeling and sound of the keyboard is extremely satisfying. This laptop is a powerhouse and can run any game with high settings and have still have an extremely smooth experience. It also has no problems running editing software for making YouTube videos and can handle effects with ease and no lag. It also renders videos extremely fast. After using laptop for a month, I only have one complaint and that is that the fans are extremely loud but that’s not a dealbreaker for me. And this is easily fixable by messing with the fans’ curves if you would like to sacrifice a bit of performance for a quieter experience. Either way it is a great laptop to use and is my go to laptop. It is a 10/10 and I would definitely recommend this laptop if fan noise is not a dealbreaker and you don’t want to mess with fan curves.

Full disclosure - I previously bought the Glow unit (not the Angler) several months ago, and was disappointed in 3 things. First, the amount of force it took to get the 'umbrella' to open, second, the fact that the latch often failed, and third, that the hardware to open it was in the way of the lighting unit. So I bought the Angler 36 Deep Parabolic and it immediately solved all of these problems. The opening mechanism requires just a short amount of time to click open the 'bike spokes', and it's kinda fun. There is no hardware in the way of the light- perfect. And I don't have to get frustrated doing a very simple thing in front of a client. This unit is well-made in materials and finish, and provides the inner diffusion cloth as well as the outer diffusion material. Looks very neat and professional on a set during an interview, and provides an even, soft source with a little bit of contrast. 5 Stars

I recently purchased this monitor as another display for a gaming laptop. The monitor is fantastic at showing colors and contrast. I run it with an AMD laptop (Asus Rog Zephyrus G14 max spec) and I have not noticed ghosting for the games that I play (most recently HZD). The display itself is great. My only complaint is the stand. It has a rather large footprint on the desk. I would recommend getting an arm to attach to the desk unless you don't need the extra space.

Should be able to access all menu by the on-monitor buttons, the remote should be a compliment. Streamline the firmware update feature. I wish display was a standard subpixel layout and had an option for glossy panel. Additionally with better heat dissipation technique to crank up those nits (we don't care of the thickness of the monitor). Bonus if the color gamut and all those spec that matter for color grading is improved too. Maybe in their next release or introduce a seperate line of monitor like name it UltraGear MAX where it has the best of the best OLED specs. Shoutout to the engineers at LG display!

I love this monitor arm! Great quality and strong installation hardware.

Use this in a dual monitor setup. Hardware calibration works great.

Can be bent in tight curves. No need to worry about breaking a socket.
