Very large, more for an executive style desk that is more than 3ft deep

I have a large L-shaped desk and the boom arm works perfectly with it.

I wanted this stool so I could get rid of the big executive chair I sit at my desk in. In a video shot, or still image, the chair itself takes up too much space. The stool telescopes to the desired height effortlessly.

I've been wanting a sit stand desk for a long time but my desk is \U\" shaped and most sit stands were too cumbersome. This one works perfect and what made me pursue it is an upcoming rotator cuff surgery and I'm hoping this makes it easier to type while in a brace since it's adjustable. So far so good. The only thing that I'm not too crazy about is that it's pretty heavy to move to the upward position. Other than that

This desk really surprised me! It has a very modern and sleek finish, large desk space on the top, and clutter free design. The only recommendation I have is tighten the biggest screws on the bottom of the base really well. If you dont and put heavy things on the top shelf, it will tilt back a little.

Its hard to mention anything revelatory given how well reviewed this lens is, so apologies it you've heard it all before. It is an excellent lens, perhaps the sharpest one I own at present with a subtly different character from modern Leica offerings. While I do own a 35mm Summilux, from a rendering perspective any comparison would be silly, as my copy is a pre-ASPH version from 1969. So I can't comment on how much more or less the current Leica brings to the party. Back on the Zeiss, I find there really are only 2 negatives and a few nits. For an M-mount optic, the lens is large and heavy. The other knock is noticeable vignetting when shooting wide open. Finder blockage is minimal and while others find it a boon, I'm not all that fond of the 1/3 of stop aperture clicks. My objection is that it substantially increases the amount of twist necessary to effect a change of a couple of stops over Leica's half stop system. Really speed vs control. The plus list is a bit longer. Subjectively sharpness, color rendition, bokeh, micro contrast are all wonderful. The blend of these characteristics borders on magical. All the detail without any harshness. When used with the M10 the result can be quite sublime and smooth enough to feel more analog than digital. The focus ring is wonderfully smooth, neither too quick nor too long in throw. Just right to be easily focused when wide open. Build quality and feel is impressive, easily up to the standard of comparably price Leica offerings. If you are well off enough to be considering an FLE, I'd suggest you might consider buying this and a nice used early Summilux instead. The Zeiss will satisfy your desire for a more modern rendering while the Summilux can compliment it with that special Leica glow. The early Summilux is tiny, sharp as a tack when stopped down and offers a completely different look when wide open. Pair them and you can go small, large, old, new, sharp, dreamy for around a grand less the the latest Summilux.

Perfect alternative for 35mm / 50mm when you can't decide which to take with you. Usually shoot 24 / 35 / 75 or 28 / 50 / 90, but when birding with longer focal lengths, this 40/1.2 VM (+M10) is a great complementary option. 40/1.4 MC VM was nice (classic wide-open, modern stopped down). This 40/1.2 is more modern throughout its aperture range: sharp even wide open, with excellent colors and blur.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow, this is an awesome upgrade. We have it in the kitchen where my wife works from home a few days a week. She's using it to extend her desktop on the work laptop she uses. We replaced a regular 1080p monitor with this one and it's as different as night and day. Not only is this monitor lighter but it has a lot of modern inputs on the back. To me this is light as a feather. She can now have more open windows visible at the same time but those windows are larger. A lot less eye strain trying to real tiny figures jammed into a smaller screen and she doesn't have to keep alternating expanding different windows to see/move figures between them. Easier to see and more to see at once, I would call that a definite win in both comfort and productivity. The stand was also well thought out. Not only is it heavy enough to keep the monitor from tipping over if accidentally jostled, but it is wide enough that it doesn't interfere with the desk space directly in front & underneath the monitor. I did bowwow it one weekend to try it out and found that the colors looked great and there was no problem watching an HD video while also having another window open to browse the web or check my emails. Very much worth it to take advantage of a modern sized monitor.
