Open Pc Cabinet

Great PDU to allow for power connectivity in an open rack or cabinet

I purchased this to use with my Synology DS1520+. Not too noisy, but you can hear the workings of the drive some if you have it out in the open. In a cabinet, you probably won't hear anything at all. Seems to be pretty fast for a non-SSD drive.

My Hegel H590 was getting a bit hot inside a BDI cabinet with door in front and open in back. Putting this on top of the amplifier keeps it cool. Fans only come on when temperature calls for it. Fairly quiet--not perfect-- but behind a closed door with sound playing you do not hear it.

Have a Marantz SR5011 which become very hot (over 50°C) in an open cabinet while playing movies. Got a T10 and setup the sensor on 40°C on Smart Mode. It will trigger on 35°C on lowest fan speed. Now the Temperature can be kept along 37°C max.

My pc booting time is 3 seconds, that is fast. And all the programs that I have installed on this drive open like swoosh, just like a flash.

The case was very easy to open, dismantle, and mount AIO. It was smooth sailing building my pc with this case, and it completely hides all the gpu and ram leds which I preferred.

It's not too big, but has everything I need to crack open a pc and perform minor repairs. Although, I don't see the point of the solder wire dispenser (which is what I think it is) since it doesn't have a place for a soldering iron.

First, unlike some other UPSes this one didn't require I open the case and connect a battery. This one was connected already and the instructions indicated as much. Plugged it in and let it charge. Moved a PC over to it and loaded the PowerPanel software to see what it might tell me. It shows the load the PC was pulling from the UPS in pretty good details - enough that I was surprised it was about half what I expected it would be. I haven't had any outages to see how it performs but PowerPanel gives me an estimate based on the PC's load.

It is a very nice PC! It would be nice, however, if the directions were clearer about how you open both sides of the case and where the locking screw is how to access it and the type of tool that is required. It would also be helpful if there were clearer instructions on how to upgrade the memory too.

I a gamer and tend to open multiple pages at the same time and things were fine on Windows 7. My PC is a 5 years-old, after I upgraded to windows 10 my PC started to slow down because of the limited (8 GB) memory the CPU started to kick to compress the memory. So I had to double the ram size. I wasn't sure if the memory is compatible. However, with crucial advisory tool I was able to choose the right memory upgrade. My PC now feels like new, I am glad I made that decision.
