Great feature in being able to stand up the case. Frees your hands up to open doors, etc...very solid , nice Velcro straps to keep Keyboard solidly in place. A bit bulky but still happy with it.

We added the Ecobee sensors to the doors in our rental unit. We get notifications if the doors are left open for more than 5?minutes the AC will shut off. Or if the humidity is high we get a notification.

I was using a Delkin Devices eFilm pop-up shade that did a great job protecting the screen and providing some shade. But I wear glasses and it was too awkward to keep the doors open and get my eye close enough to the viewfinder. I had to keep closing and opening it between shots, which was a real nuisance at times. The AEGIS screen protector fits perfectly, is easy to apply. Light transmission and color are excellent, and it eliminates the hassle of flipping the doors open and closed so I can work faster and more efficiently. I actually enjoy taking my D50 with me again when I don't need my D300. The quality is excellent and I found that I don't miss the bit of extra shade that the pop-up shade provided. I was so impressed that I bought the 3 AEGIS screen for my wife's P&S.

I wanted a lens that open things up for low light conditions shooting in doors. I've been shooting for several weeks now and have nothing but good things to say. The ability to open up to 1.2 is invaluable shooting without a flash indoors and the quality and bokeh are top notch. I haven't taken the lens off since getting it and traded the nice aperture for lack of zoom on a prime.

It's not a particularly exciting product but it does what it's supposed to do. I do wish that it had two doors (upper & Lower) so every time you open it it doesn't swamp the whole compartment with fresh moist air. Otherwise great.

This bracket fits my D750 perfectly. It is tight against my camera and I can open all doors. My 'almost' perfect comes as I wish the allen wrench could be held on the bracket somewhere as it is on the Right Stuff L bracket. However for the price difference I can live with that.

I replaced an old aluminum Bogen monopod with the Feisol CM-1471. While the Bogen, which I no longer can find a model number on due to wear, was built like a tank, I had some issues with it. For one, it has the flip clamps. Over the years I have had to tighten those down to keep the legs from slipping that the flip levers are difficult to open. Recently I was out photographing birds and the aluminum monopod got so cold I had to return it to the car. The Feisol is lighter than the aluminum Bogen. I like the anti-rotation leg lockes which seem to be the exact knock off of my Gitzo 3 series tripod. I can open the three locks with one hand and lock them when collapsed with one hand. The carbon fiber pod does not contract cold like the aluminum pod. I use a RRS monopod head on the top of the Feisol. My 1d MkIV, 500mm IS with 2x converter is steady and secure on top of the monopod.
