Easy to use. Improved performance HD 2000. Highly recommend to everyone who wants to get the best Stabilizer System. Pretty cool for DSLR, I used HD2000 with Canon 5D mark 2. Wow :)

I use a NikonD200 with a Neoprene neck strap and the neoprene, flexible Stabilizer Strap (Op/Tech USA) around my chest when camera is not in use. The stabilizer precents the camera swaying when I am running, climbing, or otherwise active, even getting out of crowded vehicles. The stbilizer prevents the strap from impacting anything like branches, rock walls, furniture, or the person in the seat ahead of me. It permits the camera to instantly slip out of the stabilizer, leaving the strap in position./ The strap length is adjustable to fit over a bulky jacket or vest, and the snap-on ends make it easy to fit.The central lens opening can be enlarged to fit extremely wide diameter lenses. I canot imagine how it could be improved.

I have 3 of these on different plates and such to keep from having to remove the camera from the stabilizer, they are indispensable.

While a little bit of a misnomer in that the attachment screws for the camera are Allen head screws, and you can attach your quick release plate to the rail, or attach a threaded tripod head to the rail, so it is not that quick, but that is a minor triviality, the rail is quite stout and worth the investment if you need to support lenses with it. I have the 460mm-800mm Opteka zoom B&H sells, and it improves the image quality, and gives you peace of mind that the lens is not going to lever the front of the camera off. There is even enough room to fit 2x converter between Opteka Lens and the camera. Though one can compensate for various vibration sources, water vapor in the atmosphere does limit some resolution of the image, but it is still a presentable image- better than one I had on hand that did not fit very well and could anchor only to the camera and tripod, no place to secure the lens foot down, so it would bounce around a little more than usual.

Need these with the stabilizer. Makes the camera easier to balance
