Optical Drive Pc Part Picker

First time building my own PC, I used this case with PCpart picker and it fits everything perfectly. It's got a wonderful little back panel section to run wires through a non-visible section of the case that helps make everything inside look nice and pretty. Seems super durable, all the sensitive (glass and plastic) surfaces come with plastic on them to protect them while shipping. Super solid feeling and honestly just feels like a high quality case. Steal of a deal!

I am new to building PC with aftermarket cooler. Needed a wider case for DeepCool AK 620 which fit just fine. Case is very nice and allows more flexibility than I'm used to for cable routing and storage mounting options. Also mounted an optical drive at bottom front. When I put the magnetic cover over the optical drive it hits the button to open the tray. Not a big deal to me. Had a question about plugging 3 pin case fans into 4 pin connectors on motherboard but Fractal never responded to my ticket. Figured it out on YouTube. Would buy again.

I got it to preserve the use of a 5.25 drive in a new PC case with no optical drive slot. (The drive has old firmware, that allows playing of UHD BluRay disks.) I found the USB cable that came with it to be a bit short (24, 60cm). If you get a replacement, be sure to get the high bandwidth A/B type.

Great drive for PC

Probably you won't use you Optical Drive anymore, you're in 2012 so just get this and add a second drive. It's amazing to buy this if you have an SSD and to keep you HDD. I use it in my Macbook Pro and rocks.

Added an SSD as my main drive and put my old Hard Drive in the Optical Bay. Don't use the CD Drive that much. Install was a piece of cake. Now I have more space for files/documents.

I use it as my PC games drive. It's simply glorious!

I installed this drive into a new pc that I primarily use for 3d modeling and rendering, as well as working on large adobe files. Connection and install was easy and I could tell right away that this is the fastest storage drive that I have ever used. The read/write speeds are right around the stated of 7300/7000Mb/s. A great drive for any new motherboard.

I could not believe how fast files transferred to it. I actually had to open the folder afterward to make sure everything was there. Great drive!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this solid state drive as a boot disk for one of my mini pc's. It was a quick and easy install. By putting the OS on the ssd, the pc boots up and starts so much faster than it used to. 120gb isn't a huge amount, nowadays, but it is enough to put most of my regular use programs on and run the peripherals off the external hard drive. I'm currently building a gaming pc and will incorporate ssd boot up in it, for sure.
