Optimal Computer Keyboard Height

Height is more than optimal and this just meets the price/performance ideal I have as a modest-budget filmmaker. Will be filling my grip package out with quite a few of these.

For me, I find the height range to be optimal. Most C-stands min height is often too high for small studio work. Also, this stand is well-built, solid, sturdy. Recommend.

I am using this posing stool as a telescope observing stool. It works perfectly for this application. With the height adjusted to the optimal level for viewing through the eyepiece, this is a terrific piece of equipment to add to your observing arsenal. Highly recommended.

Both the keyboard and mouse are a pleasure to use. I opted for the tactile keyboard with brown switches, which is optimal for typing. Great feedback from the keys. I use it on both my MacBook Pro and iPad, and one of the best things about this mechanical keyboard is the connectivity.- it just works. I wish the backlighting would stay on longer when not using the keyboard, but Logitech are working on that. The mouse is just exceptional.

This is the second Zagg Case/Keyboard I have owned. It’s the only keyboard that I have found that allows me to type as I would on a full sized computer keyboard.

This IOGEAR GCS110-4 4-Port KVMP switch is my first purcahse of this type of gear...should have bought one years ago. I had checked out one of the other brands, but the manufacturer's web-site had the same photo and description for two models, very confusing. I am using this switch with three computer, Win7, Win8.1 and a Linux rig. I keep the fourth port open for testing other computers, no need to connect one being tested to a separate keyboard and mouse setup. This switch allows me to easily switch between computers via keyboard shortcuts. I have a Logitech Keyboard and Mouse which share a single wireless USB dongle, plugging the dongle into the keyboard USB port of the monitor area of the switch allows me to use the keyboard and mouse on all computers. I did have to uninstall the Logitech software which allowed for custom keyboard layout (volume up/down, next track, etc.) as it seemed to conflict with the way the KVMP switch emulated Keyboard and Mouse Control...not an issue for me in this case. I am not a hard-core gamer, thus do not have a mouse with 92 buttons on it..more of a FPS and Flight Sim guy here. I like the fact that I can switch the keyboard/mouse, Vidoe and USB separately from the audio, that is I can have music playing on one computer, switch the Keyboard/Mouse, Video, and USB to another computer and still hear the music from the first computer. I have all my external drives and printers connected directly to the Win7 computer working as a server for all my data. I have a USB hub connected to the KVMP input which is accessed by whichever computer I am using for such things as my web-cam, joystick, multimedia card reader, and ID CAC Card Reader. I started taking IT classes and now I can easily do remote access, learned how to access Windows Shared Folders from the Linux box...and more, having the computers side by side with one control system is a Godsend. I would recommend this switch to anyone considering such a purchase.
