Optimal Studio Monitor Height Sitting At Desk

For me, I find the height range to be optimal. Most C-stands min height is often too high for small studio work. Also, this stand is well-built, solid, sturdy. Recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son works from home a few days a week and his wife does as well. However they only have one work desk at home, so when they are both working from home, my son comes to our house, which is only a few blocks away to work. We had a makeshift arrangement, but just got this adjustable desk. He loves it! He can now work comfortably whether sitting or standing, which he likes to do in order to change positions, instead of sitting in the same position all day. His work is done entirely on his computer set up. He installed 2 screens on brackets that he attached to the desk and he brings his laptop, which offers a 3rd screen. The short "L" is very handy as is the pull out drawer and the clever addition of the shelf under the desk top that neatly stores the power cords and surge protector. I am quite handy and had no problem with assembling the desk, but other people might. It does take 2 people to assembly when it has to be flipped over, since it is quite heavy. Heavy is good however, since it feels very, rock steady. The electrical raising and lowering are so smooth and quiet. The preset height settings are handy for moving the desk top to the user's height. It is also handy since I use the desk as well and prefer a different height than my son does. We have all of these heights programmed into the presets.

Just the right size for studio lights when shooting studio portraits. Place the lights at the down to the right height when clients are sitting.

Never hurts to have a backup charger when you work on location and in studio. This one is for sitting pn the desk and not in the location bag. Worked as it should at a great price.

I bought this stand to use for a production monitor. The height is great for a sitting height and just enough for a standing height. When at full height it is a little top heavy and feels it could tip fairly easily. With a sandbag or two at the bottom that problem is solved. Overall great quality stand.

I needed to mount a monitor on a light stand for my sitting/ standing desk setup at home and this impact vesa mount was inexpensive and perfect for this! And yes, it comes with the 4 vesa mounting screws. Works fine at home without sand bags and sure it would work the same on set.

Was looking for something to sit on an existing desk, would fit my monitor & keyboard and would allow me to work standing or sitting. This exact fit the bill. Only caution is that with items on top when you lower it, the weight can bring the table down too fast if you don't slow it.

I love this monitor. Perfect for my daily use. Height adjustablity is great, I use a standing desk. I love the screen adjustment buttons disk , the easiest one I ever used to adjust brightness.. night mode etc.. the display is crisp and colors are true to life. The size is generous, and very sturdy. I love it.

I have a tabletop studio and the desk it's on is a sit stand adjustable height table, which is about 2.5 thick. Most clamps only cover a table under 2 so they were all out of the question but this one did the job perfectly. It comes with some built in rubber grip to prevent scratches but since my tabletop is covered with glass, I added a small strip of foam for cushioning and these are doing the job really well. They support a Godox SL-150 and even when my table goes up and down, they manage to support it well.

I bought this monitor to replace a pair of Dell U2412M monitors. I am using the HDMI connection to a Mac mini M2 (2023). I lost several hundred horizontal pixels and gained several hundred vertical pixels, which is a good trade off for my use situation. I am going to be using the monitor to display two or three documents at a time. Plus, I will have the opportunity to try out stage manager, because each monitor in a dual monitor set up has to have it sounds space as opposed to this situation where I will just have one monitor with one space. Color is good in the center and appears a little faded out/washed out to the extreme left and right sides and darkish in the lower corners, but by my moving and looking directly at the left or right sides of the monitor, I can see it's just an angle viewing issue. Not a big deal for my usage. One thing I had not accounted for is that my Logitech WebCam placed on top of the monitor has a securing piece that blocks a little of the screen, similar to what I have seen on a few MacBook Pros. The bezel is just too small. The stand is solid. I thought that I was gonna have to use a riser, but the height is great without one at my computer desk. The stand has a swivel that directly contacts the desk. The height is adjustable up and down. The monitor tilts forward and back. The monitor even rotates a little to the left and right so that it sits level. Delivery was fast with no damage, although the tape on the external box had broken in a few places. Very happy with the purchase.
