Optoma Hd Projector Colors Fading On Screen

Like most people who’ve been cooped up at home for the last six months, finding an escape from the collapse of civilization that won’t destroy your marriage or damage your liver has become an Optomal pursuit (see what I did there?). This is where the Optoma Technology HD 146X Full HD DLP Home Theater Projector comes in. Def so high, every wrinkle, every bit of dander and speck of mud beckons you to step into an alternate world. A machine so quiet you can hear the zombies coming. And the remote control is nice because being able to turn the projector off without having to move from the blanket cocoon, so carefully constructed, is important when you want to sit in the dark and stare into the void for an indeterminate amount of time because time no longer has meaning, minutes and hours are null, and there are only episodes of ‘Girls’ and Adam Driver’s beautiful, giant, lop-sided face in so much def I can see every mole on it. Purchased as a gift, but really this was for me. Ideally would have one in every room projecting whatever things in the world I missed the most. I never expected the Optoma HD 20 projector to be such a wonderful performer. Once you switch it on, and after a little adjustments, the picture you see on the screen is amazing. Such clarity,life like pictures and a beautiful balance of colours and shades. One has to see it to beleive, expecially those who have been using projectors (this is my 5th projector). All the functions contained in the MENU are so precise and user friendly that a new user will fall in love with it. AND all this for an amount of less than $1000/-. I use this product to install my Optoma HD-20 projector on the ceiling of my living room . I'm VERY satisfy ! Everything in the package was present , from the mounting equipement to all of the size of screws available for installtion. In my case I used the 8.5 mm screws . GREAT product Thanks Jeff

The Epson 5050UB projector is a huge improvement over my old Optoma HD25. The colors are superb, the lens shift is possibly the best feature, and it's a super quiet unit. I love this projector and the price is the best in its class and even the next one too!

This is my first projector and before buying it I really did quite a bit of study about which one I should go for . My primary purpose was to watch movies on big screen and let my son play games too on bigger screen when he would want . As per my budget I shortlisted Epson 8350 and Optoma but I went for Optoma because of the size and weight which is much lesser than Epson . Let me tell you I was not dissappointed at all after this purchase . The picture quality is excellent and has multiple options for brightness, contrast etc which makes viewing a pleasure . Thank you for everyone's comments which helped me buy this and buying from B&H was excellent experience too . Go for It i would say and you would not be dissappointed. Thanks !

What an incredible picture! I use an HD projector and this screen pops! Really easy to put together and real easy to disassemble. Very adjustable in case you are in a tight space. I recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We watch all things video, but mostly movies. We have Satellite and Off-Air as well as internet streaming. Our first HD TV was a Samsung 56" DLP light bulb rear projection set. It was the best for HD back in 2003. After 10 years though it failed and we purchased a 70" 4K flat screen. At the time there was no large size DLP 4K sets to choose from at a price we could afford. When that set failed last December we had to find something new. Our son still had his 56" Samsung DLP LED rear projection set (he was between homes and was not using it) and we put it in our living room. Wow is all I can say. I had forgotten how great the DLP was or had gotten used to the Flat screen. Seeing this 12 year old DLP still looking great and only HD was amazing. I had seen on the internet that Samsung had come up with a new short throw projector. So I quickly researched it to see what it was about. It was just what i was looking for. We had been wanting to get a large picture size for some time but couldn't justify the cost as our flat screen was working. When it failed it was all on to find the best and largest picture. The 130" screen size was perfect for our living room. Some have said what's wrong with a 36" screen, no comment is all I can say. When purchased the new Samsung projector we purchased a 120" screen designed for Short throw projectors was ordered. It arrived the day before the projector. All of our view is unbelievable, like going to the theater only you don't drive

Sharp, crisp, clear, accurate and extremely detailed picture quality. The colors are truly amazing. Benq claims this projector is capable of a billion plus colors. They mean it. I am so impressed with this projector that I have stopped mid way through my first movie on this thing (Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2) in order to write this review. The blacks and dark colors are deep and beautiful. This movie puts the colors this projector is capable of to the test. If you have ever seen it, you know exactly what I mean. I could not be happier. The best test for gaming projectors has to be first person competitive shooter's such as Battlefield. The lack of lag makes a real difference. Gaming was smooth and the picture is just as good as with movies. Graphics are well defined and beautiful. Benq recommends a screen size of 80 to 120 inches. I have my screen size set at around 150 inches on a lightly textured wall. I haven't even install my screen yet! The picture is only going to get better with a screen. Put all your apprehensions aside. You are not going to get a better home theater/gaming console for this price. It's truly unreal how good this thing is.
