Optoma Hd Short Throw Golf Simulator Projector

I put this Benq short throw projector in my golf simulator room. Even thought I have the lights on so I can play this thing is plenty bright. Graphics are great, look the same as on my gaming laptop. It looked so good I even started bringing in a chair and watching Netflix movies on my simulator screen. Have had this for almost a year now and haven’t had any issues at all with it! Would highly recommend.

I purchased this projector for my home golf simulator. Projection onto an impact screen, making my game feel and looking ok like I’m at an Xgolf or swing zone golfing simulator. I can practice all winter and prepare for the upcoming golf season when the weather breaks. Highly recommend this projector!

And the remote control is nice because being able to turn the projector off without having to move from the blanket cocoon, so carefully constructed, is important when you want to sit in the dark and stare into the void for an indeterminate amount of time because time no longer has meaning, minutes and hours are null, and there are only episodes of ‘Girls’ and Adam Driver’s beautiful, giant, lop-sided face in so much def I can see every mole on it. Purchased as a gift, but really this was for me. Ideally would have one in every room projecting whatever things in the world I missed the most. I never expected the Optoma HD 20 projector to be such a wonderful performer. Once you switch it on, and after a little adjustments, the picture you see on the screen is amazing. Such clarity,life like pictures and a beautiful balance of colours and shades. One has to see it to beleive, expecially those who have been using projectors (this is my 5th projector). All the functions contained in the MENU are so precise and user friendly that a new user will fall in love with it. AND all this for an amount of less than $1000/-. I use this product to install my Optoma HD-20 projector on the ceiling of my living room . I'm VERY satisfy ! Everything in the package was present , from the mounting equipement to all of the size of screws available for installtion. In my case I used the 8.5 mm screws . GREAT product Thanks Jeff

I've used several short throw projectors, from BenQ and Optoma, and this Epson is by far the best I've used. It's quick and easy to set up, the keystone is very easy to use, and the projector is very responsive - when the HDMI signal is present, it takes about a second for the image to show up. (In contrast to Optoma laser short throw which takes like 5-6 seconds for the image to show up)
