Organize Google Drive By Folder

Quality folder.

Simple to install - just plug it in and the drive shows up on my folder directory. It delivers over 200 MB/sec transfer rates on my Windows 10 i7 desktop. I'm using it for offloading large data files from my active computer drives to to minimize the nightly backup. This is my third WD Elements hard drive, and they have always been reliable.

I use this drive to back up files from my desktop that I take with me when I travel. Having no interest in WD's backup software, I was concerned that the software would be preinstalled and difficult to remove, as was the case with previous generation Passport dirves. The software is NOT preinstalled, but resides as an executable file in a folder on the drive: If you do not want the software, simply do not install it. This folder also contains some useful diagnostic utilities and installing those is the easiest way to register the drive, which I recommend. After I did that, I moved the entire folder to another drive, which leaves a completely empty drive. Although some users of 5400 RPM drives claim that they are not appropriate for storage, I have never found this to be the case. I have large RAW and .tif files as well as .wavs and various video files and all work fine. This drive is quiet and runs cool. Although it does not have an off switch, unplugging it is not a problem. It is a USB 3.0 drive, but functions fine with USB 2.0. A SATA connection would be nice, but I've had no issues with speed whatsoever.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upon opening the box containing my new Seagate One Touch I was surprised to see the power supply came with adapters for any power source used around the world. To me this represented the thought that was put into who and where this hardware might be used. After finding the correct adapter for my use, I was quickly able to attach the drive to my desktop via the 3.0 USB port. After I attached the drive, I downloaded and installed the Toolkit software from the Seagate website. This software provides all the function that were needed to secure, backup, restore and mirror your data. The software and the hard drive worked well together allowing me to get the most out of my new hardware. First, I set up a weekly scheduled backup of my important files so that I did not have to remember each week to manually backup this information. Next, I create a mirror folder on my PC sync to my new storage device. This was so that whenever I add, delete, or edit files in one folder, Toolkit automatically updates the other folder with my changes. I have been using my One touch for about 2 weeks with no issues. I am happy with speed of both the writing and reading of information from the drive. I would recommend this drive to anyone looking for some extra space to securely store your information.

This Flash Drive for an Iphone is a great way to store your pictures without the cloud. Once you organize in Albums it is easy to go through pictures and enjoy them without the extra cost of paying for Cloud services, or upgrading phone to a newer version with more storage. You can also view them on a computer too, so excellent storage capabilities!

It's well made and durable. Holds 6 of the smaller USB drive plus a larger one where it folds. I should have had one of these long ago to organize my stuff.

Was able to backup and organize my entire life's archive using this drive. Been using it daily for the last month and have not a single issue.

I use this external drive specifically for photo back-up in Lightroom 5. Works excellent and easy to organize pics into folders, etc. Lightweight, compact and easy to use.

Organize and label your flash drive media. Saves time, protects drive from being lost. I have organized video and data libraries for years and these cases are perfect for integration and organization with other video tapes. The size of an 8mm tape case with a lock down cradle to keep the drive in place at the center and a slip in, slip out label to display the contents of the drive.
