Original Macbook Air Charger 45W

I purchased this charger for my laptop because the 45W unit that came with the device was not keeping up with charging the battery and running the laptop. Also the connection did not seem to alway work. Prior to purchasing this unit I purchased a 3rd party 45W replacement but is was not keeping up with the power requirement to charge the battery and run the laptop, plus it took too long to just charge the battery. This unit does a great job of keeping up with the power requirements. I also like the longer length of the cord to reach a power source.

Use with a MacBook Air.

I love everything about my new MacBook Air! M2 chip makes it faster and smoother. Another thing I like about it is MagSafe charger. It indicates when MacBook is finished charging which is helpful. Day after I purchased my MacBook, I recommended my sibling to purchase one and she did. I recommend it to anyone who wants to upgrade their MacBook to the next level.

It does exactly what is is supposed to: allows me to use two monitors with my 2020 Macbook Air M1 chip (I'm not a techie, and it really upset me off when I got home with my brand new Macbook and it couldn't run two monitors like my old one). Crystal clear on two 24" Dell monitors. Use mostly for word processing, email, and web browsing. Tested a few videos and they looked fine to my untrained eye. No integrated charger (you will still need to use your own charger) but it does allow passthrough charging through the usb c cable. After looking at various solutions, I'm glad I took the plunge and purchased this one.

I bought this to replace my original MacBook Air 13 2017 battery. It was easy to install and even included tools in the box and suggestions for recycling the old battery. NewerTech offers a 1 year warranty. I just installed this and so far it's working well. B&H, as always, kept me up to date on my order and delivery date.

I purchased the Macbook Air for my son, to replace his original Macbook, which was several years older. Upon setting up the new one, he was impressed with how fast it is compared to the old one. Processing tasks that would slow down the old machine are completed quickly on the new one. The screen is bigger with the same size overall, thanks to the small bezel. The screen will get smudged a little more, as there's no room to open the lid due to the small bezel without touching the screen. A microfiber cloth will clean up the screen nicely. Every time I bring my MacBook to work, I always have to bring the original little white Apple adapter, plug it in back and forth to home-work, work-home... Well, those days are over. Now, I can leave the Xcellon 100W USB-C Universal AC Adapter permanently on my desk at work while the original Apple charger is stored in the laptop's case to take it anywhere else. The original Apple charger is only 30 watts, which I also used it for other USB-C PD devices, but the Xcellon for being 100 watts, is much better. It will deliver intelligently up to 100 watts to whatever device that needs that much current, like a bigger laptop or an V-Mount battery and will also safely charge my MacBook to only supplying the appropriate current it needs. Nothing more. That's what PD means: "Power Delivery". Very happy with it, it does what it's supposed to and now I have two ways to charge my laptop. Also, it features a built-In Circuit Protection Circuitry, and if you live in a country that is 220 volts, the charger automatically switches to the appropriate wattage (110/220), no problem. Just plug it in and forget it... [I have received this product in exchange for my honest review]

Bought this to charge my MacBook at a second location without having to bring my original cable (and charger). Works like a charm.
