PS... just an after thought to my previous post..but, the Monovid 8x20 works really well with the Orion 2x54 bino with its amazing 36 degree FOV with 2x magnification..using the orion 2x54 to get a general feel for whats out there, then when something interesting comes into view use the 8x20 monovid for closer inspection... such a killer light weight and versatile combo.. the Orion 2x54 offers such an amazingly sharp large field of view from about 25-40 feet to infinity with their individual ocular focusing. The individual focusing of the Orions makes for the most amazing image, especially if one eye is a lot different than the other, like mine are ( which center wheel focusing binos ( evan swaros) have been somewhat inept to provide. The Orions are marketed towards astronomers but do extremely well for nature/bird watching as well. Bonus...The Alpine Innovations Bino Bandit work extremely well with the 2x54s..even when wearing (low profile) eye glasses.. jmho..

i'm specifically using it for my Orion 127mm spotting scope (it is the biggest scope you can buy before you jump into a telescope, so its pretty big and heavy for a spotting scope, which was a real concern for me). i use it to look at climbers on El Capitan in Yosemite, so it is pointing upwards at a pretty steep incline on the tripod.... i've had two different tripods and heads in the past, but this one hands down is the best one yet!! i've only used it once since i only got it a couple weeks ago, but i'm very satisfied so far... i was concerned about the weight of the scope, but it doesn't appear to be a problem... i told the sales person my situation and what i need (in respect to a tripod and head for my scope), and he immediately knew what would work.. very happy with B&H.. i've bought cameras etc from them in the past and have always been happy with their products and service. below is a photo of my scope on my new Manfrottos 502AH video heard & MT190X3 tripod.

Great vest. I'm using it in an underground coal mine. It's like having an extra pair of hands. It distributes weight evenly. I use it for batteries, flashes, all sorts of accessories. There are no pockets for big lenses, but that's O.K. It would make the vest too heavy and cumbersome. It's pretty good at repelling lime and coal dust and water and is not likely to tear easily. Pockets are lined with soft material, which is easy on lenses. These vests are a little pricey, but worth it. They're professional gear and are made for rugged use.

Solid takes abuse perfect for poking the gopro into strange places underwater and underground.

So far so good! Using as a backup power supply for an underground dog fence and so far is working great.

We mostly use it to protect our lens for our camera at work, being as we drag the camera through steam tunnels, in mud trenches, inside underground vaults, and through all sorts of other environments. The filter screws on firmly to the end of the lens and protects the lens from scratches, dirt, dust, etc. without distorting any of the pictures.

I use 50+ of these routinely for delicate electronic sensors that are buried underground in very wet Florida environments for over 6 months at a time. I love the color-changing pattern on the exterior of the pack that let's me now when it's due for replacement or refreshing in a microwave. I used to use the metal type that needed to be baked for 3 hours, but those too long to replenish and were small in comparison.

This arm is exactly what I needed. I made an oversized copy stand to photograph old city maps and drawings of the underground utilities. I'm using the arm on top of a ProMaster Super Heavy Duty SLR II Tripod. Had to put a couple of weights on the tripod just to make sure it wouldn't tip over with the arm fully extended.

We have had 2 electrical storms that have fried our switches connected to underground network wiring. I have installed these at both ends of outdoor run and have not had any surges since. Seem like they work as advertised.

Bought this lens for a trip to the Kansas underground salt museum. Lighting conditions were poor to say the least. Did not disapoint! Shot in very dim conditions @1/8 second (1600 ISO) without noticable blur. Goodbye flash!
